  1. "It is not the size of the dog in the fight that counts, but the fight in the dog that wins."
  2. I'm old enough to remember people complaining that Steve Smith was too short to be a WR.
  3. He's as soft as the Sta-Puff Marshmallow Man but insists on calling himself an alpha male at every opportunity. I can't tell if it's a gag or he's just that delusional. At any rate, it's really not worth expending much brain power to find out.
  4. Everyone has flaws. If one or the other of these guys didn't have flaws, there wouldn't be a debate. It boils down to how the coaching staff feels they can best address the issues and ultimately, it's their decision. Going on and on about it doesn't solve a thing. The coaching staff isn't looking at these threads thinking "You know "Joe blow" over here makes a good point. Let's do that." At the end of the day it's a crap shoot. Always has been.
  5. "At a school like Ole Miss, sometimes you have to wait your turn to truly emerge as an elite receiving threat. When NFL talents like Brown, Metcalf, and Elijah Moore are funneling targets each year, it can be difficult to break through. But Mingo was able to take advantage of his opportunity in 2022." I found this. Seems like a reasonable explanation of why his production hasn't been higher..
  6. My mother in law thinks it's Young. She doesn't know anymore than anyone else. Let's have another argument. It's so productive.
  7. I'm not looking forward to draft day. Endless threads about why did they pick. X over X are coming. Arrrgh.
  8. Absolutely. All of this bickering back and forth is tiresome. Just make the pick and roll with it. The coaches are going to make the call and there's not a damn thing anyone here says that's going to make a difference.
  9. Sorry, I jumped the gun. My bad. It was just some dude. Should know better by now.
  10. Honestly, it wouldn't hurt my feelings at all.
  11. Stroud is above average but saying he's the savior for 10 or 15 years seems a stretch. Young is heads above him as raw talent goes. I just have durability concerns due to his size. None of the top four seems like a Joe Burrow sure thing. They may be the best QBs in THIS draft but I remain unconvinced that they are the future. I could and hope to be wrong.
