I predict they sign Cam to a multi-year deal where he does start for the forseeble future, then is the QB mentor for a few years after. Plus a small share of the franchise.

I'd be both happy, and worried for Cam's safety. Another thing to factor in, is that other players around the league also love the guy, so playing with him may attract a few FA's to the team. There are a lot of intangibles that could happen with the signing if it happens.

Biggest issue is Rhule and his coaching staff. He’s completely out of his league and every other coach worth their salt is making it glaring obvious like today. Belichick just smashed our offense and toyed with Rhule today.

The problem is, there is almost nothing to do in Charlotte. I did enjoy living there, but if you're not a local there's not much extracurricular activities. Let's see, they got Uptown, the WWC, Carowinds.... They do got a ton of breweries... The culinary scene isn't really great... there's Asheville... oh, 4 hours from the coast and the most notable (infamous) is Myrtle.... lol I guess if an athlete is in to Nascar, they got the headquarters/museum and stuff.

Draft night, when Devonta Smith was still on the board, I was hoping we'd pick up a Heisman winning offensive weapon in the Slim Reaper, but got Horn. Now Horn is good, but out for most likely the entire season with broken bones in his foot, but what we could have had with another highly talented receiver. Ah well.

Anyone said it yet? The O line was actually decent today! Think this combination worked unexpectedly well.

The 11-3 Trojans, who ended up ranked 12th overall? That was Sam's last year at SC. Or going back further to 2016, where they were 10-3 and won the Rose Bowl over Penn? I wish he had the same connection he had with his team (and fans) then, than he has here.

Robby ain't doing himself any favors at all with the drops. It not only affects his confidence, but Darnold's as well. Wonder how team practice has been this week, anybody know?

He had Josh McCown for a bit with the Jets. That's about all I can remember though...

I'll be watching and hoping for a win. I watch every game, regardless. However, I may decide to turn the game off early if it's another disaster. There will be other good games on Sunday to watch.

Sam just really looks broken at this point. He’s the type that should have came into the league as a backup to a worthy veteran, and then maybe started in year 4 or 5. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. Pressure busts pipes, and Sam is cracked.

I know losing always sucks, especially after clawing back to spend it to overtime. But wasn’t this season supposed to be a rebuilding season? The early wins had people thinking that maybe we could actually go far into the post season and then we lose CMC. With that, we lost all momentum and are back to reality that we are still a rebuilding team this season. It is what it is. Just hope the season eventually bears fruit that we can grow on and make some noise next season.

I think all it takes is a trip to the Super Bowl to be in the same conversation as Cam, and simply winning the Super Bowl to surpass him. I suppose smashing his stats could also be a way of surpassing him as well, which Sam looks to be very capable of.

Really happy for Darnold! There aren't many fans out there that happen to be SC Trojans fans and Carolina Panther fans, so when Darnold got picked up by my team, I was pumped! Keep up the good work, Sam! As always, there's room for improvement but so far so good. Keep dialing in and show the critics that you belong here!

Sam played well enough today, but can be better. He needs to get the ball out much faster. He hung in tough throughout the game, especially with losing CMC.

Damn turf monster is taking out so many players tonight.
