Yea. Definitely the most boring deadline day (and really entire window) that I can remember.

Deadline day should probably be pretty quiet. Most clubs have a squad they feel they can go forward with, so I wouldn't expect too many big deals today.

The play between Coutinho and Sterling has been amazing. Only two contributing really.

Barca would do well to hold onto him. It's always taken Suarez a little while to adapt to new clubs. Hell, in his first 44 league appearances for Liverpool he only had 15 goals. He's also sharing scoring duties with Messi and Neymar. He has assisted pretty well though.

Looks like Chelsea have signed Juan Cuadrado. Do they seriously need more fuging wingers? EDIT: I guess Salah is headed the other way to Fiorentina.

Apparently Real Madrid are paying Odegaard £80k/week. No wonder.

Ajax is basically the youth academy for every major club in Europe. They are perpetually "next man up" mode. There are always players being called up from their academy, that's why it's considered one of the best in the world. If he's as good as we expect, he'd definitely get time in Ajax first team before he was 20. Maybe not a weekly starter, but he'd get good time.

Wasn't it Sheffield United? Both second legs of the semi should be pretty darn good football. Sheffield is no joke.

Odegaard probably should have gone into the Ajax academy. It's really an overall better academy and he'd also have a better chance of breaking into the first team by the time he's 17 or 18. It will be interesting to see how long he stays at RM.

Disappointing draw. Completely dominated Chelsea. Just didn't have the final touch on a few. Courtois was great in goal.

Even as good as Southy's defense is, they'll come back down to earth. Same with West Ham methinks. We have United, Spurs, West Ham, and City all at home in the back half. Southampton have played their absolute best football and are a mere 7 points atop us. United are what they are. I don't expect them to get better or worse. We haven't see anything close to what Liverpool are capable of yet. It's going to be a wild race for the 3rd and 4th spot though.

Because if the Patriots did, in fact, deflate balls for this game, I'm sure it was the very first time they have ever done that. What better place to experiment with this act of cheating than the AFC Championship game...
