I could see us run Borini and Balo up top. Then run a diamond mid with Sterling CAM, Coutinho LW, Hendo RW, and Gerrard as the deepest lying mid. Moreno, Lovren, Skrtel, and Manquillo on the back line. Frankly, our CBs looked far more comfortable with a true DM in front of them (Lucas) but there is no way Rodgers continues to bench Gerrard. I have an unpopular opinion on Gerrard's play this season, so I'll keep it to myself. In any event, I think it's likely that we see a personnel package that we haven't yet seen in the league. Newcastle won't be an easy out, especially after they are coming off a nice win over Man City.

A little early, but clubs are starting to notice the weaknesses they want to address in the next transfer window, so the speculation begins!
