how many of y'all are still watching the games?
OceanRider replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I put it on for a couple quarters but then if judge Judy releases a new video on YouTube I switch. It’s more interesting -
Is this some kind of new revelation? All drafts and trades are gambles. Tepper and the team took a risk. You gotta risk it for the biscuit. Im not a football genius, but the team is not complete yet- I don’t believe that it’s for not trying though- seems like the fo is trying, whether the moves end up paying off or being a sore spot in history is yet to be seen. But the joy of sports is that it doesn’t really matter. Watch and enjoy, or don’t.

Trade Burns for Jaylon Johnson and some picks
OceanRider replied to Varking's topic in Carolina Panthers
Who’s going to pass rush if burns is gone? I am skeptical of trading away what little talent we have left here. Not like we are going to make a playoff run this year. -
This forum is a sad sad place to be. Sometimes it feels like it’s filled with over emotional kids. We lost a preseason game. Big whoops. I enjoyed the game, it was nice to watch some football again after a long hot summer. I opened CH in the middle of the game and immediately closed it, I didn’t want to ruin my game day experience by reading so much negativity. How some of you function in the real world is a great mystery to me.

At this point in time, who feels like we lost this trade?
OceanRider replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
It’s a risk but we weren’t getting anywhere with our current QB room. For me the win was getting the top 1 pick. Ensures we got whatever pick we wanted. BY will likely do at least better than the last 4 guys. -
Almost happened to me at home about 4 years ago. My 3 year old jumped in the pool behind me after a long day at the beach. I had jumped in because a canopy had blown into the pool and I was just trying to get it out. I didn’t notice she has fell/ jumped in until she bumped into my leg down at the bottom of the pool. I pulled her out and she was foaming and throwing up water, took her to the hospital where she was released after some observation. She was probably under water for around a minute. Happens in an instant and is terrifying beyond anything I have ever experienced. Still makes me sick to think about it. i have safety gates and everything, nobody goes out in the pool deck without supervision, but even with supervision, turning your attention for a few seconds is all it takes. Prayers for the family, they are going through hell now unlike anything anyone can imagine unless they have lost a child.

Matt Corral post to instagram
OceanRider replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Did he not? Or did he blow his shots when given the opportunity? Never passed confidence over the other QBs we tried? I wouldn’t think that playing the victim card helps his career in any case. Maybe he can embrace the opportunity to share a locker room with the people he does. His shot of a starting career isn’t over. Heck, Young could go down, and he could be out there after learning from the wiz and show out.. Attitude is important. -
OFFICIAL: Bryce Young cancels remaining team visits
OceanRider replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Wonder if we trade down to 2 for stroud -
Always think it’s interesting when people pin blame on a single circumstance. The outcome of a single game is the sum of the entire game. The outcome of the season is the sum of all the games. So consistency is the reason we are where we are, and the panthers were not consistent. Hoping for a more disciplined team in 2023.

How many wins will this team bring on paper?
OceanRider replied to Chad_Cota's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’m feeling very optimistic but know we will have a rookie qb. That said this team looks ready to win now. And we could manage 7 wins with crap qb and coaching. -
Could anything make you quit the team?
OceanRider replied to Brooklyn 3.0's topic in Carolina Panthers
If they move out of NC -
Wait… what’s wrong with coke and booty?

PFT ARTICLE: The Panthers slide squarely into tank mode
OceanRider replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don’t know why people say the panthers are tanking. This team sucks so hard that even with 100% effort and the best players on the team we were going to end up with a top pick. That doesn’t change by trading a top player. That just means we still suck but we have more top picks. It is what it is. -
About damn time. I love my panthers in good times and bad but it’s miserable watching such an anemic team. Defense is the redeeming quality, we’d be winning in most of the games if the offense would capitalize on the opportunities the defense and special teams gave.

I agree and it’s frustrating to watch. I keep hoping baker turns it around soon. O-line isn’t even a problem this year.

Nice to get a win at home

OceanRider replied to ladypanther's topic in Carolina Panthers
It’s because as soon as I pull CH up during the season it’s full time meltdown mode. Even after the good games. There’s enough crap wrong in the world that it’s an instant NOPE from me to come here and try to read all this nonsense. Im a full time fan, not fair weather. I support my team even when they are losing. -

OceanRider replied to ladypanther's topic in Carolina Panthers
This forum sucks. Full of crybaby whining punks. Can’t come here to read support and football talk, it’s just negativity, armchair gm’s, and poo talk. Thread after thread. Post after post. Every time I come here I just leave. Some of you people are so miserable you will spend all your time bitching about anything. Why not just enjoy the season and support your team and it’s coaches. Life is full of ups and downs. Panthers are in a down phase, I get it, but it’s still your team. that’s all. I know my post won’t make a difference at all. That’s how it goes when dealing with people who know it all and could do it better themselves. -
Official WFT at Carolina Panthers GameDay Thread!
OceanRider replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Can’t lie my emotions are high right now. Don’t care if we win or lose but this is the Carolina panthers I have been seriously missing the last several years.
