Once this team fixes up that interior line, and Defense continues it's current trajectory, it's more than just a playoff team. I'm fine with just missing this season as long as we continue to show progress. No one is expecting us to come in be in the super bowl this season.

The past regime also plays a contributing part to this, some people seem to forget just how awful our defense was before that draft up to now. If they can do that to virtually an entire defense I have faith they can at least put a capable line out there, doesn't even have to be world-breaking, just good enough to get the job done. Although like you said will take more than one draft but hopefully not as long as it's taken with Hurney/Gettleman.

I never said our line was good... Yes, it is insane that this is what we have to deal with for the rest of the year. But Fitterer even said teams don't want to trade their lineman, even backups. Gotta continue to build through the draft, use cap space to their advantage (but wisely) and give the younger guys more opportunities.

Really seems like it. Pretty sure him sitting out yesterday was more precautionary and "one more week of rest".

Good thing Minny's line is an absolute clown show. Not as much as ours obviously, but still pretty god awful.

Keep Moton on the left side and Christesen on the right. Yes, even when Erving comes back. Replace Miller with Brown already, when we re-signed Miller, I was happy because I thought he played solid last year all things considered. But he has been a complete poo show this year. Time to bench him. He's good depth, but not a guy you want starting every week. As for center... jesus, I don't even know what to say anymore.

No, I just mean I would much rather see what our young guys can do before just grabbing a guy off the street when we don't know their football condition. Agree or disagree with me, the straight truth is our options for improving the line in the immediate future are very thin, unless we somehow swing a big trade. Let's not kid ourselves and act like some 30+ year old that hasn't played in almost all full year and/or has a injury problem is going to just come in and instantly make this line better.

Really getting tired of these predictable run up the guts on 3rd and short, when everyone and their fuggin uncle knows our interior line is complete ass.

I would much ratter have rookies with potential play and go through their growing pains, and get coached up than watching vets who have been in the league for 4-5 years already, still suck, and very likely won't get any better than what they currently are.
