Trade Sam Darnold to Dallas!!!

Small Hands Baker will probably always have issues with exchange from under center. My bigger worry would be Baker not being able to see over his offensive line when in the pocket. Having to draw up passing plays that move Baker out of the pocket so he can see throwing lanes is the definition of Amateur.

Baker proved in Cleveland he has problems throwing outside the numbers. He had two receivers with 1000+ Yard potential and failed to get either them that yardage time and time again. Bakers strength is throwing middle of the field, post routes, digs etc. But of course Cleveland knows that and is adjusting accordingly. Baker is also heavily TE Dependent and Panthers dont have the receiving TE to give Baker that outlet. Im glad Sam didnt get the start. You guys need to witness the trainwreck that is Baker Mayfield first.

Something Panthers media didnt mention is Baker struggled a lot against the Pats. He really couldnt move the ball at all.. While reports of Sam was that he was stuggling and threw picks, he was also the only QB that could move the ball against New Englands ones and apparently had the best drive of the joint practices his final drive 2 min drill. Rhule is always mentioning "Unconscious Mastery of the System".. Sam is Closer to that than Baker. Both Rhule and Mcadoo want Darnold. Not seeing how Baker wins the Job unless the owners forces him too.

As of now Sam Darnold is winning the starting Job and winning soundly Rhule is waiting to make the announcement or giving Baker 1 more week to prove he is the guy from what ive heard if Baker didnt win the Job Panthers were going to release him. But with Corral going down that might change things.

After practice yesterday I saw a twitter rumor that seems to be gone. Probably not true. The person stated that the Media has it all wrong. Sam is actually comfortably leading the QB Race and if Baker doesnt win the job out right they are going to release him. The Baker won already media are just projecting. The shyt storm from the Huddle if this ends of being true. Probably not. But it would be funny to watch ya'll reaction. And if this rumor is true, would Baker take a role as a backup or would he prefer to be released? If Sam was truly #2 I would think he would be playing tonight. Something is brewing, and I wouldnt be surpised if it shocks the hell out of us. Trading Darnold Included..

Darnold throwing TD's to Two's while Baker can hardly get 1 with the Ones while still throwing horrible interceptions. Yup, Sounds like Baker is winning the starting Job to me... NOT

This is such a horeshyt take. There have been plenty of Avg Quarterbacks that have won a Bowl. Foles, Dilfer, Flacco just to name a few. If you put Cousins on any of those Ravens teams they are still winning the championship.

Kurt is basically saying Mayfield sucks and can only read half the field and ya'll excited. Darnold is going to win the starting job after training camp.

The Biggest Challenge for Corral will be the fact that he has never done anything under center. IMO in order to be a super bowl caliber QB you need to know how to throw from under center in the NFL. Getting the foot work down, getting enough repetition where it becomes muscle memory will take some time. Just looking at Corral and Darnold standing side by side, Corral looks very undersized. You throw him out there too early, without the ability to play under center, he will eventually get hurt relying on read options plays in the NFL

Rhule is on the hot seat regardless who plays at quarterback. Only way Rhule saves his job IMO is if he makes the playoffs. Now if he feels Baker will be a better option for him to make the playoffs then go for it. But if Baker comes here and say gets the Panthers an extra win or two but still doesnt make the playoffs, now the Panthers have screwed themselves getting one of the top 2 QB in the next year draft. Thats why rolling with Darnold and Corral is the best option IMO. If Sam is terrible, it will almost guarantee a top 5 pick next season, and possibly in the driver seat to take a QB Next draft. IF Sam is terrible, it will give Corral the chance to develop. Bring in Baker, and even if he is mediocre, they will probably allow him to play out the entire season because of contract year, so that means no Corral playing, the Panthers will still suck and not make the playoffs, and might just ruin their chances at getting a QB Next draft. Baker at this point is a bailout for Rhule who doesnt deserve one. Bringing Baker will still get Rhule Fired because the Panthers will not win that much more with him than with Darnold

Mentioning passing stats without mentioning who had the better offensive lines and better players around him is very disingenuous Both Baker and Jimmy had top 10 Offensive lines last year Sam Darnold has a bottom 5 Offensive every year he has played. Baker and Jimmy had better recievers, runningbacks, o Line and Tight ends their entire careers. If you mention Darnold being a trash passer at least mention he has also had the worst offensive line and worse skill players around him compared to those two.

Were you at the practices to say Darnold was trash? Panthers picked Sams 5th option before the season started last season. They based picking up his 5th year option Based On his Practice Play only. He was not trash during Camp last season. He was good enough that they decided to pay him 18 Mill for this season. That in itself should tell you he was not trash during camp last year
