A couple of years ago the Jets played Dallas in NJ. They beat them because Sam played the way he did last night. he is very capable IF he gets adequate coaching which I think he is now finally getting. Do you all agree? BTW who is QB coach?
IMHO, he is playing better then anytime with the Jets, i.e., moving around the pocket, awareness has improved (but still needs work), doesn't have happy feet (I mean a lot of the throws last night he had good mechanics [which is something he still needs to work on... but he is improving]).
gents, this is a work in progress. he never got the coaching he has now (that is a fact) and I can see the difference in is confidence (which was pretty shot in NY) and that he believes again... that is significant. He will get better, you can see it, because the scheme fits him so well and the OC seem to know how to use his ability to throw on the run.
I for one m glad he is doing well, he is a class act and a leader. Give him time to be coached up and you will not be disappointed!
