    Slye needed a reset. His confidence was so fragile here. We brought in Eberle as competition and he was folding under pressure in practice. Sure he’s started well with the Texans but I have my doubts long terms with him.

    Just watched Daley on Darnold's long bomb to Anderson. If CMC didn't save his ass this play wouldn't have happened.

    This is the first game with new QB. There’s definitely a lot more work that needs to be done offensively but I’m encouraged.

    The article makes a lot of sense in explaining Darnold's mentality playing on that Jets team. When you have Breshad Perriman and Chris Hogan as your starting WRs and the other supporting casts around him you probably feel a sense of weighted pressure to perform above what that team is capable of. But now he's got the weapons he just needs to execute the game plan and not feel like he has to play hero ball in order for the team to win.

    Sewell is 20 and Christensen is 24. Sewell has played a lot less football with him sitting out a year as well. I would reserve judgment on Sewell as I think his growth and development this year matters more than his play during the preseason.

    Would be cautious about the Ravens backup kicker. They swindled the Vikings into trading a 5th last year for another backup kicker after he made 4 field goals in a game only for him to be cut 2 weeks later.

    Darnold is going to take his chances. You just have to hope he understands that there are chances you can take and ones that you shouldn’t like throwing up a jump ball in triple coverage.
