  1. From the video you linked to: Rhule: "If he feels real comfortable to do it, you would consider doing it. He's valuable where he's at. We'll have to wait and see." OTA Notebook: Taylor Moton likely staying on right side (panthers.com) " Asked what it would lead Moton to play on the left, Rhule replied: "If he's the best available." "
  2. On paper, for an elite line, yes. We did not acquire top FA's or use 1st or 2nd round draft picks on elite olinesman. Instead we chose Horn and Marshal, and trade downs allowed us to get Tremble and others. We money-balled the oline with BC, Deonte and Moore. We do not know how its going to work out. I wouldn't use an analogy that compares the linesman we drafted to sht. I wouldn't say that trying to figure out the best position for our lineman as throwing sht. Who did you want in FA? Who did you want in the draft?
  3. Are you thinking about running off? Don't tease. Frank, dude, relax. Other people have different opinions than you. Its ok.
  4. Poor frank, lashing out again because people disagree with him. Moton has been repping LT on his own because he wants it or is very open to doing it. He's not doing it to spite you.
  5. This. In his interview, it was clear he is willing and possibly wanted to play LT. " That opportunity might present itself more now at left because in the past years whatever happened, it kept me right but it's just like I said it's just feeling more and more comfortable just repping it out day in and day out. "
  6. Thank God you went in LinvilleGorge. Keep us posted. Take care of yourself.
  7. Smith: "That young man is going to steal some folks jobs."
  8. Didn't we move Bell to L because he was left handed? That failed.
  9. When he was just hired? Nah. After he was on the job a while and then Hurney got fired? Yes! With the disagreements we know about, and the old school Hurney crap....Tepper knew Marty and Rhule disagreed on how to rebuild a team. Thank you Matt Rhule for helping get rid of Hurney. Yeah, Fit has been here just a few months and it looked like both him and Tepper looked to Rhule in Panthers confidential, mostly in terms of who to get. But if you look at the Panthers confidential where they are discussing getting Darnold, Rhule isn't even in the room. Now that was probably a reenactment, but they included Rhule with the whiteboard early. I'm not saying Rhule didn't push for or sign off for Darnold, I'm saying Fit looked bought in. Also hat doesn't mean Rhule's in on the dollars. That is apparent in the Panthers Confidential supplement where they are negotiating dollars and Rhule is nowhere to be found. Ok well I'm done here trying to convince you that Marty wasn't Rhule's puppet on the Teddy contract, even though Marty had signed dozens of oversized contracts like that before.
  10. Right back at ya. Here's the truth. You don't know. I don't know. But Tepper does. People are just using this because they're still butthurt over Cam, or Fields, or the Oline, or Teddy, or last years draft or this years draft, or whatever. They use Teddy as a data point so they can claim Rhule's in the hotseat or will be if we don't start have winning seasons soon. This season can not get here soon enough. In the end, Hurney makes the contract.
  11. So what you're saying is Rhule should have said to the press: "Hey, this wasn't MY guy. Talk to Hurney" or "Hey, I think Teddy's perfect for the rebuild, but he's just filling in" or "I signed off Teddy as transitional QB, but Hurney f'ed up the contract" What should Rhule have said?
  12. Hurney does his usual thing and some huddlers want to put it on Rhule. smh
  13. So now, it's: Rhule didn't rip on on his new QB to the press, so he must have approved his contract. If someone asks if you plan to fire the new guy that you just hired, you don't say "of course". Rhule is NOT going to say that Teddy was a bridge or transitional to the press because we all know that Teddy saw this as his shot at the captains chair. Rhule is not going to say "naaahh, he's just filling in." So all of the other Hurney screw ups were on Hurney, but this one's on Rhule? It was Hurney's decision. smh
  14. Matt Rhule on contracts: Matt Rhule talks defensive performances at practice, minicamp schedule (panthers.com) 7:25 He says he leaves the contract stuff to the GM because he wants the players to see him as a coach. So Matt Rhule was coach in the NFL for like 5 minutes, had never negotiated an NFL contract before, and now stays out contracts, came in and said to the guy that hired him, I want you to run the contracts by me for approval...and I'm in la-la-land? In the end, you can paint it any color you want, the decision was Hurny's, not Rhule's. The Bridgwater contract was a typical McHurneyfication fckup. I just don't understand how people don't see that.
  15. This is just silly. Matt Rhule has maybe a handful of consistent critics here You're right. It is silly to criticize Rhule for the Bridgewater contract and there are a handful of Rhule consistent critics here. They just post a lot. Half my posts are to refute their BS.
  16. Hurney hurnies another contract. some huddlers: Its Rhule's fault!
  17. It's ok. There's no need to hide your feelings. Let em out frank.
  18. Wow. More praise for Payton. Mancrush much?
  19. Rhule: We need a transition QB for the rebuild. Hurney: Hold my beer.
  20. 4 days acclimation I thought. I really don't know. Newton said Monday.
  21. "If only we had tanked more, then we'd be good...stupid coach."
  22. BS. He was a bridge quarterback during a multi year rebuild. The QB we brought in last year was NOT going to take us to playoffs. The aints traded him to a division rival....we knew he didn't have it. But he was willing to come hold the reins so we don't become the joke of the league with our backups. You may have believed Teddy could take us there. You may be projecting again. NO ONE wanted to come play here. Tom Brady was NOT coming to the Panthers dude.
