Yeah, I was just hoping for 8 wins before the season, 9-10 in my dreams. Then the Saints game happened, and I was like, could we really do this? Then the Eagles game happened and I woke up. Without CMC and Elflien and Joe Brady saying "just execute better", I don't have high expectations for Sunday. We are a checkdown offense without a reliable checkdown target at this point. Chubba needs a really really good day on the ground to win Sunday.

All games are must win. If you are talking playoffs hopes, which is looking like a stretch now, 10 wins are normally enough to reach the playoffs. The easy path is to win these 7: Vikings, @ Giants, @ Atl, Atl WFT, @ Dolphins, Pats For every game we lose in the easier batch, we have to win one of these: @ Cards, @ Bills, @ Saints, @ Bucs, Bucs In reality, if we can't win any in the hard batch, we'll be one and done in the playoffs anyway.

Yeah, and I think the blocked punt hurt our score dramatically.

You've been going around hysterically posting the picture of one of Sam's ints over and over, whining about his performance (which was bad btw), after months of raving over Sam. The trolls are absolutely loving you. I'm glad you've calmed down. Sam's going to have bad games. Without a checkdown target with hands, and no confirmation that our starting guard is returning, and the OC thinks people need to just execute things rather than scheme around weaknesses, facing a team that is 2nd in sacks, he's in for a tough Sunday. Try not to freak.

You realize there's a lot of assumptions in there, many of which are probably wrong. You work in the film industry dude. Is that the way they treat the workers? If so, you are CLEARLY projecting.

Hey thanks for the heads up. I'll have to talk to my neighbor then. The wage he was offering my son was nearly twice his current pay. Maybe locale specific or something.
-
As a producer, aren't you part of the management then, the management that is mistreating the workers?
-
Yeah. Looks that way.

Film industry. Taking advantage of people. You don't say? As for whether construction still pays, as I was saying, the biggest house in my neighborhood is owned by a guy who started as a bricklayer and worked his way up. My son wants to work for him because the pay is good. There are probably cases where construction workers are mistreated, but it's not the film industry.

Yeah, we have some work to do here.

Hope he's ok.

Sam Darnold press conference after Philidelphia game
SBBlue replied to SBBlue's topic in Carolina Panthers
I just don't see that happening. Its a shame what happened to him. Cam kicks the Pats ass all those years. Then the Pats injure him in preseason and he can't play his last year here. The Pats then acquire Cam in year and give him Damiere Byrd to throw to, and run him more than ever, using him as a battering ram. Then they keep him until just before the season starts so he can't find a new team, and then drop him. I hate the pats and Belchek. The man is evil. I hope we beat the living tar out of the Pats. -
You're right. A good OT just doesn't get released very often. Trades are not uncommon though. I could see Fit cutting a deal.

My grandfather worked construction. He'd take me to the buildings he worked on and point out the walls he helped build. He was proud that he helped build my HS. And I've never heard that these guys are underpaid. Some of the more well to do guys in my neighborhood work construction. What industry are you in that takes advantage of people?

Yeah. I didn't want Tepper originally. I was wrong. He is certainly investing in this team.

I'm hoping Tremble steps up and has an awesome game.

That's all he does.

Yup.

Yeah, I use drop%, not cmp% Cmp% doesn't take into account whose actual fault it was: bad throw, throwaway, breakup, or drop. Chubbas drop% is 18%, which is like HORRIBLE. Blindfolded Ted Ginn bad. And these are checkdowns, not Ted Ginn routes. Chuba Hubbard Stats | Pro-Football-Reference.com Tommy Tremble has had 1 drop on 6 targets. I'm trying to remember when that was. He got leveled and dropped the ball, but that resulted in a penalty. Are they counting that one? Tommy Tremble Stats | Pro-Football-Reference.com Ian Thomas's drop% is 8.3% which is still bad. Historically he has dropped on 3rd down or other pressure situations. Ian Thomas Stats | Pro-Football-Reference.com
