This part is true this part is not. It will never be enough, I promise you. The jets have invested 2 first round picks in the last 2 years and brought in Morgan Moses an OT with an 80.6 pff last year. They are still bitching. We brought in 2 FAs, one a former first rounder, and 2 draft picks. One of the draft picks was a consensus All American with the highest pff pass blocking grade of the draft class and the other was the starting guard for Alabama. We are easing them in and they will play when Coach Pat Meyer says they are ready. I promise you. The huddle will NEVER stop complaining about the offensive line.

Yup. I liked that we schemed him in for more touches in that game.

In terrible Ex-Panthers offensive lineman news...

Now you're just being mean. -

Jets and Bears are saying the EXACT same thing.

WTF is the guy behind the camera doing in that picture? He's right there and sees the kid.

I love the trade dude. I just don't think Arnold's pass reps are going predominantly to Tremble.... not at first anyway. I think we're going to see more of Robbie, Marshal, Thomas and Tremble.
-
Arnold didn't start playing in the nfl 3 games ago and yes he had multiple conversions in those 3 games, some at crucial points. Tremble did just start playing in the NFL 3 games ago and Tremble wasn't drop free in college. Arnold's hands were more proven than Tremble, or Ian Thomas. If Arnold was on our roster last year he would have been 2nd in touchdowns. He was the Cardinals 3rd leading receiver in 2020 with more yards than Larry Fitzgerald. I love Tremble and think he'll do fine and he will probably surpass Arnold.

We are no longer rebuilding. We're competing
SBBlue replied to Tommy Jone's topic in Carolina Panthers
Oh. Sorry about that, I guess it is lose lose. I thought I had it bad because my wife doesn't like football. -

Ahh. Well, love has no bounds. You could look at it as, either way you win? Happy wife, happy life...that sort of thing. -

I don't play fantasy. If I did, I'd probably suck cause I'd load up on Panthers players and we are not a high scoring offense. -

And that's fair. Our schedule is backloaded. This Sunday should give us a good idea. If we win this Sunday, the math becomes much easier. Still not a guarantee, but it makes it all the more likely. -

FYI Panthers still have 5 draft picks next year
SBBlue replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
We started this year's draft with 7 picks and left with 12. So those five picks could grow to 8. We should have fewer holes to fill as well. -
I'm sure he didn't. Hurneymagic

See? We agree on that.

Yes, and Marty 2.0 hired Rhule. As I said, you can't blame Hurney for the fckups and then not give ANY credit for the successes. Yes Hurney sucks. It wasn't all misses tho.
-
Hurney 2.0 CMC, Curtis Samuel, Taylor Moton ,Dj Moore, Donte Jackson, Brian Burns, Dennis Daley, Derrick Brown, Yetur Gross-Matos ,Jeremy Chinn,Bravvion Roy, Stantley Thomas-Oliver Teddy wasn't that bad either BTW and apparently would have played better this year. And most importantly, Hurney 2.0 brought in RHULE. You can't blame just the bad picks on Hurney and then give credits for the good picks to somebody else. I'm no Hurney fan, but a lot of this team is Hurney 2.0.

Me too. I guess if Henderson works out, it will be like Arnold is still contributing.

Panthers were in trade talks for CJ even before Horn was injured
SBBlue replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
The timing is very convenient though, with talk of him even playing Sunday. We may be in talks all the time for a myriad of players, but I would guess that Horn going down created impetus to get a deal done now. -
Gettleman was ass. Hurney2.0 > Hurney 1.0 > Gettleman (all versions)

But..but but. but that's too old school. You have to have the elite-iest QB to win a SB now. You know, like when Manning showed up Cam in the SB. Or when Brady embarrassed Mahommes. /sarc -
From the game time thread on the Saints message board: SubmarineMike: As thin as we are on WR/TE, maybe we should have made a play for their superstar TE Dan Arnold. Dude seems like a real game changer. St. Aaron: Now I know what Carolina felt like when Ginn came to the Saints and learned how to catch.
-
7 catches on 11 Targets, 64% ctch%, 84 yrds 12yd/catch You were there when we needed you, to drive the aints nuts. 55 yards on only 22 snaps in the NO game. Good luck in FL. There are fewer mouths to feed there, so you'll probably see more action.
