I hate seeing how Butker is doing. smh

A big part of that is gauging the rookies...mostly Brady Christensen. If he comes in and holds his own at LT... we'll be just fine. Because we took him as a high 3rd where there were 11 tackles & 1 guard taken ahead of him and he went to BYU, he's older, and his arms are shorter or we didn't take the guy they preferred, ...some are down on him. I'm not there, he had the highest pff for olineman in history and the highest ras score of the group. He has tape and athletic ability. As a sophomore he played against USC, Washington, Utah and Tennessee, and allowed a total of four pressures. He has battled 1st rounder Payton Turner from Houston. He was 2020 consensus All-American, best 2020 pass blocking grade among OT in this draft class and allowed two pressures on 293 pass blocking regular season snaps. ..and people here act likes he probably sucks...so the left part oline probably sucks. Guess we'll find out. But I believe BC can do it.

Ish (Ishmael Hyman) showing great improvement put a few really nice days together As much 2minute and rz as we can get...

Sorry, but I just don't want to hear this right now.

Yup. Heads up, balls comin your way Donte.

As I think about this, combine his increased reps this year, contract year, better coverage from the other side and increased pressure from the new DE...oooh shivers.

Joe Person on Twitter: "Panthers ST coordinator Chase Blackburn says they may bring in another kicker for next week’s minicamp, but Joey Slye has been kicking well." / Twitter It doesn't work And if I try embed:

Panthers ST coordinator Chase Blackburn says they may bring in another kicker for next week’s minicamp, but Joey Slye has been kicking well.
— Joe Person (@josephperson) June 9, 2021
Ok, there it is. Your right, it does sound insane.

I know right? I thought the same thing. He was very gracious.....uhhh, you need to talk to the offensive coaches about him, I see him at breakfast.

Joe Person on Twitter: "Panthers ST coordinator Chase Blackburn says they may bring in another kicker for next week’s minicamp, but Joey Slye has been kicking well." / Twitter How do you embed a tweet?

I still haven't figured out how to embed a tweet, but: Phil Snow Press Conference / Twitter Horn has high football IQ, is really big, fast learner, nailed the pre-draft phone interview- was eager to cover Juilio and Mike Williams. Chinn has been a safety his whole life so he's transitioning well. Last year we played him front to back, this year we'll play him from the back up. They're still going to move him around, blitz him. Hassan went to Temple as a corner but flourished as DE, he can do a lot of different things. Shaq is bigger/heavier went from 225 to 235. He felt Keith Taylor was a 2-3rd round talent and was surprised he fell to us (Do we actually have depth at CB?) Burns is 22 and was younger last year than all the rookies we brought in. Horn and Taylor fit right in as if they've been in the NFL a long time. Donte has exceptional movement and ball skill, working on consistency. 3 picks in 400 snaps...could be 6-7 ints at 1000 snaps. We are base 4-3.

Yes, and it is really a good schedule It gives all the new pieces time to gel and have a chance for early successes. Hopefully Darnold continues his habit of finishing stronger later in the season.

How much of the Jets performance was really on Darnold?
SBBlue replied to SBBlue's topic in Carolina Panthers
No. Stop. -
Yeah, the last two drafts look like Rhule was largely in the drivers seat. It is clearly his show right now.

Cam deserved the MVP. He was also 16th in yards passing, 27th in cmp%, 7th in Y/A, 7th in PR, 19th in ints. The stats @Madwolf uses doesn't make the case for MVP overall either.
