The thread was a post of a slick play by CMC. For you, every thread is about our team losing.
-
So we shouldn't post gifs from W's?...because we didn't win the division? This really is all about that you're a jags fan isn't? Hey you got Trevor. Cheer up.
-
Are you saying we shouldn't enjoy defeating the jags? Are you a jags fan Frank? Is that it? Are you upset because we beat the jags? Because you sound like a jag.
-
Trolls normally are happy to be with the people their trolling.
-
Uhhh, we won the game in the OP dumbass. So you came in with a post asking about the season. Are you suggesting we hold our cheers until the end of the season? Or are you suggesting that after the season is over, if it isn't a winning season, that we don't celebrate any of W's from that season? Frank you always seem to be looking for the L.... you know, like a troll would do.
-
What's a matter Frank? You seem upset. Are you ok?
-
Good morning frank. I see you're busy making friends as usual. Such a nice person.
-
You think because you rip on the team all day long it makes you a more sincere one. It doesn't. You're going to bitch and moan all the way kickoff. In you're mind, thats what true 'fans' do. Oh wow. More active wishing that the line doesn't hold up from frank. I'm shocked.
-
You do sound like an expert on losing.
-
You sound like a troll more and more each day.

I had to check how they're doing cuts this year. August 17 — four days after the first preseason game NFL teams are required to cut down to 85 players. August 24 — Three days after Preseason Game 2 NFL teams are required to cut down to 80 players. August 31 — Four days after Preseason Game 3 NFL teams are required to cut down to 53 players Looking at this I would expect him to get a full preseason. Worst case, we kept a protected tackle on the PS last year, I would expect us to do the same this year which leaves room for one more.

He juked the LB and the DB. I can't wait until he's breaking ankles this fall.
-
Our decision was not to renew. "It was their decision. I stuck with it, and I knew that, so I asked for a trade. Watch him say it here:
-
We've been over this. He asked for a trade. That is not the same as, I want to play the last year of my contract. Mods?
-
To answer the OP question. This is not about us.

He didn't look good his first year, and was injured last. He's going to have to show at camp just to make the team I think. I posted this elsewhere: We kept 9 OL to make 53 last year. Just deciding which 9 to keep isn't easy. This is my guess: Make the Team 72 Taylor Moton T 75 Cameron Erving T 60 Pat Elflein G 61 Matt Paradis C 70 Brady Christensen T 78 Trent Scott T 67 John Miller G 77 Deonte Brown G 68 David Moore G Practice squad or Cut 65 Dennis Daley G 74 Greg Little T 71 Sam Tecklenburg G 66 Mike Horton G 62 Aaron Monteiro T 63 Matt Kaskey T 73 Martez Ivey T We could put Moore on the PS and protect him I guess, but I would not be surprised if that beast is starting at G before the end of the year.

I miss Cam, and wish him the best but this thread belongs elsewhere.

link:Every NFL Team's Most Overpaid Player Entering 2021 Season | Bleacher Report | Latest News, Videos and Highlights The Contract: Two years, $10 million with $8 million guaranteed An argument could be made for Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey here, strictly because big second contracts for running backs rarely pan out. However, McCaffrey is arguably the NFL's best dual-threat tailback when healthy. Instead, we'll go with journeyman offensive lineman Cameron Erving, who expects to be the starter at left tackle this season. A two-year, $10 million deal isn't a lot for a starting left tackle, but it is a lot for a player who has struggled to find a home and a position in the NFL. Erving, a first-round pick back in 2015, is now on his fourth team and third position after previously playing center and guard. Erving has never played 80 percent of the offensive snaps in a season and finished 2020 on injured reserve. He hasn't shown the longevity or reliability to justify the $8 million guaranteed on his current deal. With $5.8 million in dead money remaining on Erving's contract after this season, Carolina will essentially have to let him play it out.

AJ Bouye Keen To Embrace New Role And New Position
SBBlue replied to SBBlue's topic in Carolina Panthers
You're right he was a day 1 starter, ....and you're right they could keep 6 corners for the cut. They don't have to follow the initial cut numbers from last year, and obviously made changes for the final 53. I was just going off of the initial 53. This is a group with injuries, I can see keeping six. -

Yeah I put them in that order on purpose. I know. I know. It just can't get here soon enough. -

It looks like we pulled Douglas in off the waiver wire after cuts. He just wasn't part of the original 53 man, where we kept 5 corners. Panthers claim Rasul Douglas, Shareef Miller off waivers (247sports.com) I agree, you all are right, with injuries, its probably a good idea to keep six. -

Initial 53-man roster headshots for 2020 (panthers.com) I don't think Douglas was part of the 53 cut. -
AJ Bouye Keen To Embrace New Role And New Position

Man that CB room is crowded. Last year we only kept 5. 8 Jaycee Horn CB 26 Donte Jackson CB 24 A. J. Bouye CB 29 Rashaan Melvin CB 25 Troy Pride CB 28 Keith Taylor CB 23 Stantley Thomas-Oliver CB 35 Jalen Julius CB Melvin on down will be battling for 2 spots. Is this what having depth looks like? -
link: https://theriotreport.com/aj-bouye-keen-to-embrace-new-role-and-new-position/ " Bouye, who has played for the Texans, Jaguars and Broncos in his eight seasons in the NFL prior to signing a two-year deal with Carolina this offseason certainly has an impressive resume with 14 interceptions and seven pass deflections in just 69 career starts, highlighted by a 2017 season where his six interceptions and eighteen pass deflections earned him Pro Bowl and Second Team All-Pro honors. However, after struggles with injury and suspension have caused him to miss fourteen games over the past three seasons. “As a nickel you have to be part of the run fits more, blitz packages, knowing where your help’s at, knowing where your help isn’t, playing off of routes when you’re in zone” explained Bouye.”In man, I know I have this man wherever he goes. Now I’m playing from inside out rather than inside out and learning concepts that way.” “Donte Jackson, Jaycee Horn and all the young guys, they’re taking the coaching but they’re also coming to us as veterans and asking us what we see on our reps” explained Bouye. “So, you see that these guys love the game, they’re studying, and they don’t think that they’re better than anybody. They’re just always willing to learn … they’re always trying to pick our brains, whether it’s on the field or how we approach the game, our routines and everything … It’s definitely been a great opportunity to be a leader and lead in that way.” “It was definitely something they talked to me about before (I signed)” confirmed Bouye. “As you can see, not only have they brought me in, they brought Rashaan Melvin in who was known throughout the league as a guy who could just bump and run all game no matter what and play a lot of man. So, we have the personnel now, especially on third down, to just match up with receivers and play man and it’s mano a mano. All the great defenses, they are successful because they know how to stop the run, play man and show up on the most important downs.” "
