  1. There has been talk on podcasts of a soft-tank. That CMC's injuries weren't necessarily as bad as we reported, but we knew we weren't going to compete last year, so we spelled him to save wear and tear for this year.
  2. Yeah, I can see where you get that. Cat Crave puts up a ridiculous amount of articles. Literally 5 in the last 24 hours. Its normally a couple articles a day and I ignore most of them. Its been slow with news so I tried to pick one that might generate something interesting in conversation beyond the Moton signing. That's fair. We do like to recycle discussion though. You can believe that if you like, but if you look, I link to a lot of different sources and quote the source so you don't need to follow the link to participate in the discussion.
  3. We (and that includes me) are all worried about the oline without even knowing who is where. I bet we're concerned about something else come mid season.
  4. link:Carolina Panthers: 5 big riddles Matt Rhule must solve at 2021 camp (catcrave.com) Can the Carolina Panthers rely on Joey Slye? What are the Carolina Panthers going to do with Brady Christensen? How can the Carolina Panthers maximize Jeremy Chinn’s impact? How can the Carolina Panthers keep Christian McCaffrey healthy? How can the Carolina Panthers build Sam Darnold’s confidence?
  5. But injuries are a standard fixture on the oline, especially ours. Especially looking at Erving, Little, and Daley. We're going to get see some of our rookies this year.
  6. Yup. If ever a reclaim project should work, its this one.
  7. Tell me about it. Last year I didn't even want to watch and couldn't wait for the season to be over. I can't wait for this year to start.
  8. Cause they're mobile? Cool.
  9. Yup. As a fan, I love when they post that stuff.
  10. Couple actually. Panthers 5 sacks of Rodgers led by Derrick Brown Panthers 5 Sacks and 11 QB hits on Stafford
  11. BC is a rookie and we need to ease him in. That said, we have games to play and we're all worried about Erving and Little slated at Left.
  12. I'm really not there wanting to tank for Trevor, or Sewell (who is now a RT) or whoever. Good players aren't just about money, they want to win and tanking doesn't help in the FA market or help you retain good players. It also would be a bad first impression for Rhule. I wanted to beat RR and we almost kept him out of the playoffs. I don't care what everybody else here thinks. Fk the WFT. Horn may turn out to be better at corner than Sewel is at tackle. Both are valuable positions. Just google "Sewell overrated" and you'll see that not everyone thinks he'll be as awesome as everyone says. Teddy, wasn't great, but he wasn't horrible either. Yes he blew some games, but we were in those games. Did we over pay for him? Yes. Did it harm our franchise to a great extent short term or long term? I just don't think so. He played the bridge we needed between Cam and Sam. We were not going to the playoffs last year even if we had all the dead cap back, and that dead cap isn't stopping us from going this year either because we are still sitting on 24 million.
  13. Yeah. A lot of mouths to feed this year. Seems possible someone is going to decline a bit because the TE has to be better than last year. With an additional game we could reasonably see 4000 yards though.
  14. I'd say the same, but if I had to pick, I'd say RT RG RG RT, and the market confirms that.
  15. Yeah. Sundays are going to be great this fall.
  16. I know he said that, and I disagree. I know PFF sucks. But according to them there is no correlation, in fact, if anything, longer arms perform slightly worse. I think its an old coaches myth reinforced by self fulfilling rostering.
  17. He would have had at least one more if Teddy didn't could hit him wideopen in the back of the ez. He'll get more next year.
  18. Moton was drafted 64th from W. Michigan U with a RAS of 8.46 as Guard and BC was drafted 70th from BYU with a RAS of 9.84 as Tackle Daley was drafted 212th from S Carolina with a RAS of 4.92 as Tackle I'm really confused by the huddle sometimes. Daley is winning this poll, but did not look good when he took the field 2 years ago and was out most of last year where he only started one game at LT which he didn't finish. Why the love? Meanwhile BC hasn't played a snap, but he sucks because he was taken 70th. I understand loving Moton who was drafted 64th because he has shown he can do it. The contrast of reactions to BC and Daley is puzzling.
  19. Yeah. I'd like us to lead the league in unnerving qbs.
  20. Go ahead, cause that's the only place that is going to happen, in your dreams.
