  1. Great OP. This is really an in depth piece on Burns' chase, chop, ghost and spin techniques. Best I've seen.
  2. " His 1st year to his second in his rookie season he had 7.5 sacks and 16 quarterback hits Last year he had nine sacks and 21 quarterback hits In 2020 alone he had the third most hurries in the league and the third fastest average time to pressure amongst all defensive linemen. Just 2.45 seconds, .3 faster than the nfl average He had the fastest time get off of point-blank anybody in the nfl: ¾ of a second is all he needs to cross the line In 2021 he is gonna break out "
  3. This is my favorite episode of my favorite podcast so far. I love PNP, and this one has reps from other excellent casts, like 4MR,Tmo,Pat Coletrain and DuncOnDemand. These Panthers fans know their stuff and just sound like good, genuine people. This particular pod cast is like a microcosm of the huddle. At 1:59:13 the conversation turns to Darnold, the line, Jets, BC, Brady and Rhule. It discusses the whiplash us fans have had over the past few years. At one point it takes a hilarious turn. If you have a time today, take a half hour to watch, If you have time for all 2.5 hours, I'd do that too. I normally surmise stuff, but this one is fun to watch. Let me know what you think.
  4. BTW, I'm not pie-ing that sht. Someone check the balls.
  5. I used to get nervous when we approached the RZ/EZ. They are not stopping us this year.
  6. Would someone please knock him on his ass. Derrick Brown, I'm talking to you.
  7. Tannehill did have some seasons better than others in Miami. Ryan had only ONE winning qb rec in SIX years, 2016 where he had an int% of 3.1%. Darnold had only ONE winning qb rec in THREE years, 2019 where he had an int% of 2.9% Both of these seasons were with Gase.
  8. My guesses: Injury. Even now, he didn't fully participate. He's overshadowed by Horn. We were already stacked at wr. We could have drafted oline (even though only one lineman was take between Marshal and BC) As a rookie, I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes one of the top leaders on the team in touchdowns because Brady likes to go to him in the RZ/EZ
  9. I love Kollmans' stuff. Kollman put one of our picks in his 5 favorites of the entire draft:
  10. Yes. Not many NFL QB's have 3 years and are as young as some rookies. We agree here. "Fragile psyche" isn't supported by the preponderance of the evidence. He didn't break down with the merciless NY media, the crappy jets oline, crappy jets wrs, crappy coaches, crappy scheme, crappy snapping, the internet meme generators, or the incessant ghost jokes that btw weren't really funny the first time, and now years later have grown beyond old. We didn't trade Teddy to protect Sam. TB's guarantee would have went from $10 million to $17 million if he was Carolina's Week 1 roster. We saved $6 million in 2021 and $26 million in 2022. That sixth round pick we got for Teddy, we used to trade up to get BC. You're right... you can welcome him with derision and bashing if you like. I personally didn't like the pick at the time either. I've chosen to try to see how this can work. You should try it.
  11. With Thomas out and Onyemata suspended, not to mention the cap casualties and new QB there, we have a real shot at beating this team.
  12. Me too. Mic'd up: "Whats that bear doing?" "What you got? I block like a tight end bro. I'm bringing it." In Panthers Confidential, he's going thru his old Jerseys, find's one of DJ Moore's: "tuh this clown. That man there a character." I just find him so likable.
  13. Great OP. As some has said, he has the possibility to have a Ramsey effect on the D. I don't care if people call me a homer, I just feel like we are going to tear up.
  14. Time off. Between projects actually. Its been nice. But it looks like another is about to ramp up. So you won't get to enjoy my company as much.
  15. I have made many, many posts and threads on the team or players other than Sam Darnold. But total time on the huddle? I don't know, maybe 5 ...or ....10 minutes? I'm a fast typer.
  16. Cam Erving, Chiefs Agree to Reported 2-Year, $15.7M Contract Extension | Bleacher Report | Latest News, Videos and Highlights He started at guard the first 13 games in their SB run of 2018 until he was injured. I agree And feel free to tell me who we should cut to reduce the "waste". My point was adding talent for this season is fine. As for the arguing, you quoted me.
  17. idc I'm married. I know how to do it. @LinvilleGorge I'm sorry if I upset you, and if I didn't upset you but am upsetting you by saying you're upset, then I'm sorry for that too.
  18. Yeah, I see where you could get that. I meant you're projecting on the emotional stuff. I'm not mad at you or upset. At the point you used the "white knight homerism", and your responses to @iamhubby1, its clear you're perturbed. Meanwhile you're telling us we take it personally and getting emotional. You're projecting.
  19. Now that is putting your money where your mouth is.
  20. I think you may be projecting. Yeah. You're projecting. Its OK. I'm sure there's plenty we'll agree on at some point.
  21. I think I frustrate people here sometimes. I enjoy the engagement and disagreement. I learn a lot from it. I thought that is why people came here...to share their opinions, disagree, discuss...and in the end cheer on the Panthers. Before I joined I read this post: Why Darnold won't be bad - Carolina Panthers - Carolina Huddle And when I read some of responses, I was like wtf. Is this still a Panthers board? So I decided to finally join, be vocal, and share my opinions.
  22. Yup, I'm crushed or pissed or whatever you think I'm feeling. Actually, I'm just engaging posts that dream about the demise of our one-year coach in the long term or short term. I
