Their Dline is stacked now. I'm telling you, they went crazy in FA. They added two very good pieces to the Dline and they were already 7th in run D. Don't get me wrong, they had a ton of holes to fill and they aren't contenders, but we weren't awesome last year either and we had an easier schedule. I agree. I do think our run game will decide it though. They had a good run D last year and we don't do well without a run game. If we establish the run, we'll roll.

The staff is an upgrade for sure. They added a 1st round OG Vera Tucker and RT Morgan Moses (79.9 pff). They added a 1st round LT last year, Beckton. Their oline looks better than ours on paper now. They added more toys than we did with 2 first round picks and a dozen new players in FA. They added Elijah Moore and Corey Davis at WR. We should beat the jets. I hope we destroy them and Burns, Brown, Reddick and Fox give Wilson a nice warm welcome the NFL. We should not assume this will be an easy game or we'll end up like the Rams and Browns.

I see two teams that both are going to surprise people next year, both added a ton of new pieces, each with something to prove, going at it like its the Superbowl. We are NOT playing the 2020 jets. Theres a lot of score predictions for the jets game. I want us to annihilate the jets. I want Sam to light them up for 300 yards and Robbie to catch multiple TD bombs. That said.... Any given Sunday. The 2020 jets do not exist anymore. We will be playing the 2021 jets and they will be much better. They have new coaches, a new first round guard in Vera-Tucker, RT Morgan Moses (79.9 pff), WR Corey Davis(85.3), 2nd rounder WR Elijah Moore, Edge Carl Lawson (76.3), and DT Rankins from the Saints. They already had Marcus Maye(82.9) and DL Quinnen Williams (81.4) . On paper, their oline now looks better than ours. They were top 10 against the run last year and we don't play well without our run game. They had a harder schedule than us last year. They beat 2 teams with winning records and the Rams were pissed because they wanted to lock up the #1 seed. We did not beat a single team with a winning record last year. If we had their schedule, we might have had the same record. They are coming here with something to prove. Do not sleep on the jets.

I know right? I just can't wrap my mind around that. They mortgage the team's future by spending a 1st, and three 2nd round picks to trade up 3 spots for a QB to "save the franchise", but don't bother to pay for a QB coach for your new rookie QB. Its mind boggling.

Especially this year with all the new pieces.

According to the Deep Ball Project, Teddy led the league last year in inaccurate deep balls that were still caught, with 5. Considering he had 20 completed deep balls...that means 25% of his deep completions were considered inaccurate. Its a testament to how good DJ, Robbie and Samuel are.

I know man. Add to that Fox who was ranked 6th with eight tackles for loss, and Davion Nixon, there's some talent in the rotation which really hurt us last year. I watched another highlight video and many times they ran straight to our 2nd tier guy. They're targeting to our rotation. By building depth, we plug that hole some.
