No matter how Rhule does (which has been awesome so far), I will forever be grateful for pushing Hurney out.
-
If I didn't see it actually happen, I wouldn't have believed it. Its funny cause its true.

The flurry of activity kicked it down. Good to see you. Things are playing out even better than hoped so far. Hopefully this Sunday will quiet the detractors even more.

My icon is the picture of Rhule after we draft Tommy Tremble. "I've got my had raised on Tremble." He was so frickin excited, he put his hand in the air, TD signal style, and makes an exploding bshhh sound:

Chubba has dropped too many. Hope he's carrying around the jug machine with him everywhere he goes. I think we are going to see an offense like we saw last year without CMC since Davis wasn't the best receiver either.

We are no longer rebuilding. We're competing

% Chance Panthers make the playoffs: 65.7 2021 NFL Football Power Index | ESPN 53% 2021 NFL Predictions | FiveThirtyEight Since 1980, 136 of the 180 teams (75.5 percent) to start 3-0 made the playoffs and there is an additional playoff spot this year. It’s Over for the NFL’s 0-3 Teams | Odds Shark Our franchise has followed that 75% pattern: The Panthers have played for 27 seasons and have started 3-0 four times. Three of those seasons Carolina has made the NFC Championship Game (1996, 2003, 2015) -- and the other year the Panthers finished 7-9 (2002). https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/panthers-are-3-0-for-first-time-in-six-years-why-perfect-start-typically-leads-to-super-bowl-appearance/ Odds lean in our favor at this point. -
Both team's schedule is backloaded. We'll see how both look at the end of the season.

I'm no Thomas fan, but he has caught his last few throws for 1st downs and he has been blocking much better. In fact, his blocked set up Tremble's run.

We're still prepping BC and Brown, lets see how they do. Fitt will have more time to prepare for line acquisitions next year. Last year we sucked so no one wanted to come here, Fitt had just been hired and good OL get snatched up fast while some of those deals are a long time in the making. Darnold took too long to throw on Thursday, and the line looked bad. I'm expecting that they are spending a ton of time addressing that. Fortunately, the Cowboys DL is not elite either. I'm hoping for a better showing.

I'm no expert, but my understanding is it depends on thewhere exactly the breaks are and what type. Yes he's young. I hope you're right. I sincerely do.

He'll see more action on 3rd now that Arnold is gone. Last year showed there's more to Robbie. In fact I think Robbies presence help make this trade possible, knowing there are other sure hands besides DJ.

Horn isn't coming back this year. I didn't want to say it here , but CB's beat the sht out of their feet and I was horrified at the the thought that Horn might not come back at all, and if he did, could he be the same Horn? We will know in time how tragic last Thursday was. I hope I'm am so wrong. But trading for another corner, a young first rounder, indicates to me, that they think, or aren't willing to risk that the Horn we knew for 2.5 games may not come back. They are also in "win now" mode. I guess we're trading down with our first rounder next year.

Paradis is so busy helping the guards block, it leaves a whole right up the middle.

Hopefully Robbie and Marshall can fill that 3rd down catch certainty role. I love Tremble and he has caught 100% of his 1 targets, but I just want proven sure hands on 3rd down. Robbie and Terrace aren't drop free, but Tremble wasn't drop free in college either.

I guess the answer wasn't on the roster. New era.

Sam doesn't sit on the opposing teams bench during the game and put his arm around the opposing team's Qb smiling the whole time. He doesn't smile after loses. Sam doesn't blame everyone else for his mistakes. In terms of play, Teddy has improved and is playing better this year than last year, but he also has a better OL and the softest schedule to date (Jags, Giants, Jets) where none of their opponents have won a single game. Two of our opponents know how to at least win a game. In terms of play, Teddy wasn't the best deep passer, but he wasn't as bad as some make him out to be. I'd don't think he would have over thrown the deep pass like Sam did on Thursday. The WR would have had to run back and jump over the receiver to catch it, as they did many time last year. 21 Sam > 21 Teddy > 20 Teddy > 20 Sam

Richard Sherman makes a lot of sense right now
SBBlue replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
Richard Sherman Contract Breakdowns, Salary Cap Figures, Salaries, Bonuses | Spotrac NFL Salary Cap Space | Over The Cap We have about 20 in cap and his last cap contract was about 14 mil a year. With multiple suitors, I would expect his hit to be north of that. -

One doesn't drain every last bit of cap space and draft capital for win now mode, if you don't expect a deep playoff push. You carry over that space and leave that draft capital for the next year, and combined with current player growth, hope to add what is missing with the draft and have more cap space to acquire new and resign current rostered players next year. -

True. And the Jets drafted OL 1st round last two years and brought in Morgan Moses 80.6 PFF at OT and Connor McCovern 62 PFF at center. They have invested heavily in their line.

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't predict this 3 games in.

What is really sad is that some fans on the jets MB are blaming Wilson. Dumb af.
