That so funny to ask for metrics to study pff which is, itself a subjective made up number based on some dudes' opinion. Through three games: Matt Paradis: 67.0 Brian Burns 59.1

Careful. You're going to hurt some peoples feelings.

Sometimes its awesome to be at the bottom of the list.

The chargers, literally, had the worst line in the league last year. Forrest Lamp 2020 PFF 49.4 Pat Elflein 2021 PFF 50.6 John Miller 2021 PFF 53.6 Dennis Daley 2021 PFF 60.0

LOL Oh my god, its huddle in animated gif form. Now that is funny. Its funny cause its true.

I don't know AVT's run grades. I don't pay PFF. Look up you're own stats. I looked mine up. In the end. It. Doesn't. Matter. AVT is not a 62.5. He isn't. You can defend PFF and the jets OL all you want. You will never convince me that AVT is a 62.5 or Fant is playing out of his mind at 69.2 or McCovern is a 68. No. No they don't. He is 48.5 bad, not 62.5 bad. Someone on that line has to be in the 40s, but amazingly NO ONE IS. How is this possible? The worst performing line in the league has all average lineman? Its 2.6. I sited my link in the original post, you didn't. If you click on the underlined words it takes you to the site with stats: 2021 NFL Advanced Stats | Pro-Football-Reference.com Sigh. If PFF puts it on Wilson, then HIS PFF grade should be in the 40s, but its not. A 40's PFF grade is required somewhere on the jets OL or Wilson. There isn't one. You ask all of these stat questions, which can easily be looked up. You have provided ZERO links to make your case that the jets OL scores are legit. Instead you stated a ybc number but no link to it. Sorry. At this point you're just making up sht. I'm done here. Ignore on. You can rant to the void.

Yes. And double teams, which happen every play, are hard to account for as well. Paradis spent the jets game double teaming with Daley while Elflien was left on an island with QWilliams, the jets best D linemen, essentially, their Derrick Brown, but with better stats. In the end, PFF scores for that Jets oline are not in sync with the jets performance. It just isn't. There is no way to sugar coat it. Anyone watching the 5 sack shutout/beat down Bronco game last Sunday with Wilson running for his life cannot stand there and tell me that the run blocking was pretty good. NO IT WASN'T. They couldn't run the ball either. The jets OL pff scores should not be higher than ours. They just shouldn't. I know it. The NFL knows it. Jets fans know it. Zach Wilson knows it...and we should know it.

That's not one game. That's thru three games. Van Roten's score is currently 53.9 on pff. Meanwhile the Jets have the HIGHEST PRESSURE% in the the league and lead the league in sacks with FIFTEEN. Their ybc is mediocre at 2.6 so the run blocking is NOWHERE near where it needs to be to raise the overall score. They're 28th in rushing yards and 29th in rushing attempts. So how can the run grade raise their overall grade so much when they aren't running the ball and when they finally do, its nothing special. 2021 NFL Advanced Stats | Pro-Football-Reference.com Did I mention that Wilson has been sacked 15 times? At that rate, Wilson will be sacked 85 times this season. So please explain to me @AU-panther, how does the Jets entire line score above 50 when they so clearly TOTALLY suck on the field in STATS and via the eye test?

And that answers mine.

Wow. You're pretty sensitive about PFF. You work for them or something? You follow me around and any time I criticize them, there you are.

I'm not piling on Fields. It just confirms what I've been saying since May. We were told over and over that reclamation projects almost never work . Sam is who is, they said. He's a turn over machine, a bad QB.... a bad decision maker. When Sam is gone, Rhule will have one more QB and then he will be gone, they said. Last week we scored more points without CMC than with him and the OL had its worst performance of the season. Sam was good, 304 yards, no ints and 2 rushing tds. Now, again, a lot chips are on Darnold for Sunday, on the road. No CMC. No Horn. The D will not be as strong and the crutch is gone. He's got a rookie running back who can't catch and an OL that looked REAL bad last game and is down a starter. If we win and Sam does well, and it still doesn't convince people he's a good QB, well that says a lot more about them, than it does about Sam.

Rayshawn Slater PFF 71.3 Christian Darrisaw core muscle surgery Alex Leatherwood PFF 34.6 AVT PFF 62.5 Tevin Jenkins back surgery AVT's score is clearly ass as PFF for some reason has been in absolute love with the Jets line which is one of the worst in the league in pressures, hits, and sacks and I personally saw Derrick Brown eat AVT's lunch over and over.

This is the Turning Point Game of the 2021 Season
SBBlue replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
If we win, it will shake things up. The media will go nuts, we'll be ranked top 10 (we are top 12ish now) and it will be a 2nd statement game, because this time we are missing key pieces on the road. The excuses will be that we had longer to prep bs. Huge opportunity, big hill to climb tho. We can win this game. -

I pooed just for the irony of it. -
Why do we keep trading our FA acquisitions?

I think it opens up reps for all of them, including Marshall. -

Unstoppable force, meet immovable object. The Cowboys have the 3rd lowest pressure rate in the league. We have one of the meanest pressure D's in the league. We've seen this story before when we met the Saints line, but they were missing their Center. This time tho, we' are down one JC Horn and it seems unlikely that CJ will be up to speed enough to be as effective, if he even plays. If we win this one on the road, without CMC and CJ, we are a very good team people. -
Everyone said we had a horrible line last year with Paradis at C, Miller at RG, Reed at LG and Little/Daley/Scott/Okung at LT. In the first 1st Saints game, we played from behind. We couldn't run the ball (37 yards rushing) so we passed a high percentage of our O. Teddy threw for 283 yards. The line looked good giving up only 1 sack, 3 QB hits, 2 passes defensed, 1 FF against one of the best DL's in the league. We lost 27-24. That was the week after Chicago where Teddy was sacked 4 times. People do not want to admit that the first 2 games this years, the OL did NOT play horrible against two very good DL. I will admit, they looked bad against Houston, but Sam was also holding the ball longer, our pkt/time average for the whole year went up after the Houston game. I'm hopeful that the line can hold on Sunday, and get back to playing like they were week one.

The Oline will never be good enough. There will always be qb hits, pressures and sacks. Can we improve? Certainly. Will the huddle quit bitching about the line? Nope. If we chose a first rounder, the bitching would be that it was the wrong one. The line whine is an integrated part of the huddle DNA.

Sam Darnold, playing at high level... I likey.

As a sophomore Brady Christensen played against USC, Washington, Utah and Tennessee, and allowed a total of four pressures. In college he blocked 1st rounder Payton Turner from Houston. He was a 2020 consensus All-American, with the best 2020 pass blocking grade among OT in this draft class and allowed two pressures on 293 pass blocking regular season snaps. He faced 1st rounders and p5 teams and excelled. Moton was a very similar draft prospect and has performed just fine. Moton was 64th G from Western Mich U with a RAS of 8.46 BC was 70th T from BYU with a RAS of 9.84 Moton played a grand total of 63 snaps his rookie year. BC looked good in preseason and has only had a handful of regular season snaps so far. When he is ready he may be pretty be good. We can play it stupid, like the jets and just throw high draft picks on the line, or we can play it smart. But to say we have done nothing is just not supported by the facts.

And the jets line was ranked 10th. Want to swap?

Russel Wilson begs to differ.
