  1. Not to mention he came out of the senior bowl looking on par or worse than Zappie. I think he is the only qb who actually hurt his stock competing in the senior bowl.
  2. Your right. I do. And people seem to laugh at me for feeling that way. So I'm painting the picture why I feel that way. Do I think he's a better prospect than say Lawrence? Not close. But I think he does give you a floor as a rookie. It's going to take some time to figure it out in the passing game. If you have a strong defense you can lean on his rushing ability to generation some easy offense and win with your defense. Rhule wants to be a rushing team anyway. It would be no different than what we did with cam when we were the leagues number 1 rushing attack and won on defense.
  3. I'm here year round. Been on the huddle since 2009. First rounders play period these days. UNLESS your a playoff team like the 49ers or packers who can afford to sit a young qb. Which is of course what you want to do if you have time but teams picking in the top 10 rarely do... and rarely do they have Jimmy G or Arron Rodgers ahead of them. He will play even if it's packages..
  4. Bro you act like I'm the one saying it. I'm telling what scouts are saying and why he is moving up draft boards.
  5. Nothing I have said is embarrassing except you don't like the guy.. you are closed minded and can't seem to grasp the concept that Willis has generational skills... even if it doesn't work out having elite running ability and top 10 arm makes him intriguing. He won't get out of the top 10. Rhule has said it everyone seems to see it but you boomer.
  6. He's no smaller than Hurts who is a dangerous runner... I m not asking him to run over defensive linemen but to break tackles which he lead the league in. Vick broke tackles in the pocket and if needed challenge corners for a first down. You don't want your qb taking hits anyway so sliding will usually be what he does anyway.
  7. Josh Allen's running threat was already the running threat he was then as he is now lol you think they just figured out oh he can run in the NFL? I'm not sure u follow scouting enough to have this conversation.
  8. I mean if Josh Allen's rushing ability remained a threat at the next level why wouldn't Willis? Is he slower than Allen?
  9. except Willis isn't all that inaccurate which is why teams are falling in love with him
  10. It is speculating... but it looks a lot like what San Francisco did last year to aquire trey Lance. If you want to say Daniel Jeremiah doesn't know poo... that's fine. But it's easy to see someone falling in love with Willis's tools.. there is NO better option this year.. if you need to gamble on qb why not gamble on the biggest arm and fastest playmaker. Doesn't mean it's right or the right choice but it's definitely tempting..
  11. I mean I know you and a lot of guys who look at things the old fashion way can't see it. But the NFL is taking notice and things are in motion... teams are making moves and gearing up to make thing happen.. that usually means qb.. And no that isn't Pickett
  12. My infatuation is he can run fast a top 5 threat on the ground instantly. And he has a top 10 arm in the league instantly. That's potential. The fact you think he isn't accurate based on what? The Ole Miss game?
  13. Sounds like Josh Allen and trey Lance... Cam Newton are Blinn... I mean if you can ball and have the traits they are just there... scrubs or not.
  14. This isn't the same line as last season. You signed 2 guys Bozeman and the rams guard. If you plug Christensen in at LT you basically have a decent shot at already having upgraded...
  15. OK I see you using this Tarkenton, Staubach defense with good success but let's look at those guys.those guys were the "runners" of there day and my response to that is they aren't even in the same stratosphere as vick or cam as a runner. With 60 carries being the most either has had in a season neither even getting 500 yards.
  16. I dunno man... it seems like people think he's more dangerous than we do.
  17. I don't think he's 4.3 either agreed. But I think the case can be made he's as fast as CMC who isn't blazing himself and gets ran down by faster guys on the regular at about 4.48. Cam ran a 4.53 at best time in the combine I think Willis at the least is that.
  18. I mean what are we basing this off of because his on field speed has been timed equal to kyler.. that's atleast 4.4.. but the guy in the article seems to think he's even faster at about 4.39 or so
  19. Nobody is afraid of hitting nick chubb and those other guys but their tackles get broken regardless...
  20. Hurts, Mariota, RG3 are failed examples. But my point is the success of the aforementioned lead to coaches trying to find their own version. Even if it was a cheap knockoff. The reason I can't say Luke changed the game at linebacker because he played the game exactly the way it has always been played but was very good at it. You can't say that at Cam because, look at the deigned runs, the RPOs used to fake defenses into thinking his patented power goalline rush was coming and instead he throws. Things like that you weren't really afraid of with Brady or Stafford whoever... you don't defend Cam in the readzone the way you defend those other guys. I think that difficulty absolutely made coaches say I want 1 of those. Do you think people stopped being born that can't run and throw from the pocket? No... in college anyway, it's easier to win with a guy who can run and throw vs a guy who can't move at all. That has infiltrated the league. The pocket passer is now that the mobile qb use to be.
