    I guess hes not a top 5 defensive end. But a top 5 edge... absolutely.

    So if we lose 1 more game or so what was all this worth? bashing people who are looking towards the future doesnt make you not a fan it makes you a realist. I was all for tanking but these victories push us out of legit top 5 pick range so whatever win out. However remember this thread when we lose 1 more game or so and are eliminated from contention and forced to pick 15.

    I love this guy. Hes such a weird body type but plays with heart and fight every touch he gets. He might not be a 1 and 2 might be his ceiling but, I love him as a 3 or x factor type guy. I think we havent even scratched the surface of what he can do if he gets RB touches.

    I don't think he's a defensive end. hes a 3-4 edge. Beyond that hes an elite athlete and can play in space and coverage. we have seen him take picks to the house and so on. Other than being suspect in the run game i have 0 complaints about him. and hes super young. Core guy potentially a HOF talent.

    Corral has shown no reason to have faith in him in the future. This guy has upside. Corral's as big a project as anyone. hes fragile.. and showed nothing in limited reps. Even in practice like he had rarely flashed.

    The thing is with a Rushing quarterback like this you can win with him. He doesnt have to be Manning out the gate just pick up a few first with his legs hit a few passes here and there. look at how successful we have been under Wilks run heavy game as of late. let him manage the game without forcing him to win the game until he develops.

    I can't see this team going anywhere but QB. It just isnt possible. with darnold off the books and baker gone... who do you have? PJ? Corral? I know its fun to think about these other guys but come on...

    If we aren't picking at the top to get one of the top 2 choices i gamble on upside. Richardson has more talent than any of these guys but it needs to be refined. I let him bench all year and see what he looks like next year if he can be had say end of round 1 or round 2.

    agreed... I don't think having Corral should negate or influence Travis as a potential selection. Even if we took say stroud in round 1. Travis as a backup taken in say the 6-7 isnt a bad idea. I think after this season we wipe the qb locker room clean.. Having 3 qbs compete for the spot of back and starter isnt a bad idea.

    Im fine with stroud..but i wouldnt connect corral to Travis. my problem with Corral isnt his size.He just hasnt flashed any reason for me to have any faith in him. shoyld be be released? absoutely not. but we would be foolish to guarantee him anything.
