This is a terrible take. Number 1... Burns like it or not is a young 2 time pro bowler. your not going to get him on a reddick deal when you drafted the guy and declined 2 first round picks and a 3rd for him. If hes not our best player who else could command that kind of value in a trade? Would anyone else be worth that kind of haul even cmc couldnt get you a first. YES he's our best player consistently getting double digit sacks in a league where that isnt everyday common. Nobody on this roster right now could get you a first round pick outside maybe derrick Brown so whats that say about a guy whom another team called and offered 2 first and a 3? you going to tell him hes not worth 30 million when you showed him hes worth more than 2 firsts? I get you might think hes 1 dimensional but that 1 dimension is very valuable in a league where getting to the qb consistently is seen as the secon most valuable commodity.

Bro. Yall putting 30 mil as the cap hit thats gonna break us. the cap rises every year to where 30 mill will look like a deal next year. Look at DJ Moore contract at the time compared to what came after. The sooner you sign him the better the deal looks. Next dude to get a contract paces the market. We have a terrible roster. This guy deserves some respect. Goes to show the work you put in could change a players trajectory. I was seriously a Chubba hater during the Rhule Era because they were using him as a Change of pace 3rd down back and he couldn't catch literally anything. He dropped every pass thrown to him. Now his hands look pretty sure.. I dont think I have seen him drop one this Year. Running hasn't really been his issue just his hands. I have never seen a guy change his ability to catch over such a period(maybe armanti edwards?) Props my guy should be the new starter...

Luvu is not better than Burns.. You have to account for teams game planning for burns and doubling him because if not him who else? Aaron rodgers acknowledges burns as different... even on hard knocks after the practice the other team was asking burns to team them to pass rush. Nobody game plans for luvu or ask him anything. hes a great player but more a off the ball linebacker. He isnt a pass rush threat which is the most valuable position on defense and outside qb.

I don't see it that way. I don't think the situation is to the point of no return. He could have held out like bosa at the start of the season but loved the team enough not to. that tells me he wants to be here. depending on his numbers this year we might be able to save a few buck and burns doesnt seem like a greedy me me pay me 30 mil player. I just cant see the team going CB or TE with the first pick. They already have been trying to trade for a WR. that tells me thats their number 1 priority. We arent scoring points... defense is playing well enough for us to be in games. yes its not good.. but you have bigger issues with separation and throwing to a 32 year old wr as your number 1. You can't have your franchise qb who is growing and learning forced to lean on a guy who is at the end of his career and can't seperate. Despite the fact he has never played with a good qb. I would like to see him go to say the eagles or rams somewhere he just has 2 run.

I can't Agree with the concensus huddle Group think that all second round wrs suck so dont draft 1. Thats the same logic of all ohio state qbs suck until C.J Stroud... or all FSU defensive ends are Everett Brown until.. Brian Burns... The fact is all draft classes are not created equal. Some guys get pushed up or down depending on how much a team needs and how deep the class is. Hell Davonte Adams when in the second round behind Benjamin and OBJ and i think cooks... Kennan Allen went in the second round looks like a Hall of famer.. Don't base every guy who is in the second round as all the same guy. each prospect should be looked at on a individual basis.
