  1. I don't expect beat writers to be as connected as Ian Rappaport or Adam schefter. Those guys are super stars in the industry. Been around for years decades connections made. Sheena is young and covers just charlotte.
  2. This mock doesn't even have Willis or Pickett in the first round... I would not use this as a reference for anything.
  3. What's wrong with being wrong? If I'm a weather man and I tell you it's going to snow and it doesn't you going to attack me for it? Things change factors change situations change. So while on Tuesday the best offer might have been the falcons.. Thursday the browns call again with a better offer..you going to hold me to Tuesday?
  4. I saw him badgering Sheena as well for some nonsense. Not sure what his problem is. She seems pretty awesome to me. And her info(she was on the cam newton return before anyone) seems pretty accurate. I don't get the attack on media for things not being 100% accurate. Situations evolve, money players teams can change their minds.
  5. I don't believe there is any legitimate interest here. After seeing the two guys who could go top 10 why even spend resources on a guy who is going to go after 10 but before you pick again between 2-4.
  6. I don't think love has done anything to show he isn't worth what he was drafted for. I think they would seek a 1st or second for him. Not sure I would pay that.
  7. Well the hype train has him mocked as high as number 2 now to Detroit. I am not saying he is the best player in the draft nor is he the number 1 target on my list. I think if I had a choice I go icky at tackle, Evan Neal, Hamilton and then Willis... not sure how I feel about cross yet. But he's right there with willis.
  8. You know what I agree. But because one wasn't asked to do something doesn't mean they can't. From his scores this kid is very smart. As far as being a one read and go..where have we heard that before" coming from gus malzhan offense this kid doesn't see it. He's a one read and go" they said exactly that about cam newton. I think if he was 6'3 we wouldn't even be discussing who is the number 1 qb.
  9. I mean Lamar was like the 5th qb on most evaluators boards. He still didn't run. Willis has more claim to the top qb spot than he did.
  10. Kyler didn't run either... it seems to be a growing trend that these guys who are mentioned in the top of the first round have more to lose from running a slow 40 than running a fast one.
  11. Thats not what these events are for. They are to show what you CAN do in favorable conditions. You as a coach or gm it'd your job to see what they can do in a perfect situation then try to recreate those condition in game. Of course that's not going to be the case 90% of the time but that's the goal. You could go out there and light it up like Willis did. Or you can go out and miss and come away with mote questions than answers like Corral did today and kill your buzz. It's not as easy as "throwing against air"
  12. I said that and basically got laughed at by the rest of the thread...
  13. Well. What good does it do him to run the 40 or do any athletic testing? All it does is fuel the he can play multiple positions maybe move to wr nonsense we have seen with other athletic qbs. But, he was signed as athlete to play cb at first. So his speed must be legit. Other top athletic qbs lately have opted not to run including the fastest in the league Lamar jackson. I was asking around about his speed to other draft analyst and this was the reply
  14. This looks about consistent as what everyone has been saying he's probably qb 3-4. In the second or 3rd round sure sign me up. But I dout rhule is excited about all these missed deep balls. He's probably not a panther..
  15. That's perfect fine and I get it. It's all just for entertainment
  16. But yes we are derailing the thread on corral.Corral.. I'm curious to see if he get the same excitement.
  17. I'm saying from what I have seen and read accuracy isn't a big weakness for him. If you want to say his decision making and experience in a pro system are one I get that. But I don't see a lot of he misses a lot of throws.
  18. Because most people are illogical. I think it's hard being the first to really start doing this and remain relevant. People want a mock draft where you can't predict who will trade and what people are talking about behind closed doors non the less know how teams rank certain players... it's impossible. Not to mention your doing a mock based just on where teams are at and are picking. Espn tell you do a mock draft no trades. One trade blows up the whole mock. It's like predicting a perfect March madness bracket. Nearly impossible
  19. Nobody had Lamar jackson high. Everyone saw him as a play wr guy.
  20. I see nobody saying what your saying but you. Everyone I see say he had a great day made a lot of money and thats without running... now being mentioned going as high as 2. You sound like a hater.
  21. Well he nailed the one after mayock not so much but nobody bashes him.
  22. I mean if you look at any draft evaluator anywhere nobody hits 100%. He's no less creditable than anyone else. Coming out of highschool Clausen was the number 1 player period. I guess everyone was wrong on him.
  23. I think realistically only 1 goes top 10. To much talent elsewhere ar other positions. We got atleast 3 tackles going top 10. Hamilton going top 5. Sauce is going top 10 probably the Walker kid.. I mean there are only so many spots.
