  1. With that I think you still have to take the best guy... I Mean you going to pass on a super talent because you aren't equipped to house him at the time? The Jets weren't ready for Wilson and the jags weren't ready for Lawrence.. I don't think you just say no because when will you get this chance again?
  2. They didn't exactly announce it which is why it's a rumor. A guy with connections said he heard... kind of like a movie leaking or a video game leaking early..the Panthers also could not have wanted this to get out.
  3. Nobody is perfect? Go look at any other qb and there throwing sessions I would argue that corral looked the worst throwing against air but people still love him?
  4. Some qb is always going to get pushed up... in a year where the class of talent is down you still have to find the girl who looks the best at the dance even if there isn't any grade A beauties. It looks to me a lot of his runs were by design similar to cam at auburn. The rise of the rpo offense. Guy was averaging what 80 yards a game at one point. If your good at something and why not take advantage of it? Doesn't mean he can't throw because he make does show off some nice throws but the difference I see with him and cam is he has touch.. he can change up the speed on his throws adjust his timing.. I think he's a better passer than Newton at the same point in their careers
  5. Of course you can find people who stick to there gun but if you type in senior bowl qb rankings or senior bowl standout the name that generally* comes up is Willis.. I don't see oh Kenny Pickett really shined or Strong... on overall winners Willis is about universally on every list as a guy that stood out. And I'm not saying I'm he's a sure fire thing I'm just telling you what I see in a quick Google search.
  6. You must not have watch any of his throwing sessions
  7. I am not a fan of " he put up numbers in college" plenty of players do that and fail. You have to have traits that project at the next level things that make you better than the next that can be taken advantage of. A few years ago everyone was all up and sure about clelin ferrell because he was good in college and was putting up double digit sacks. Combine comes around he runs a horrible time and that's red flag number 1 for me. The tape won't tell you he was surrounded by 3 other first rounders and that allowed him to get minimum attention and made him look better than he was. Tape doesn't always tell the whole story.. there are factors in everything.
  8. What about a whole week of practice where they all were on equal footing in a setting where Rhule himself coached last season where they got to see them in all conditions wind and equal competition? There was no liberty handicap or line deficiencies and the universal consensus was Willis came out looking the best of the bunch. Not to say years of tape and all their careers go down the drain. But again some time the tape doesn't tell the whole story and why we scout traits and things that project at the next level. Without that no way Josh Allen goes as high as he did and he proved them right.
  9. Well he said from what he's hearing which is basically a rumor.. I don't want to flat out say Panthers are favoring Willis since it didn't come from anyone within the organization. So I made it questionable..
  10. He said at .27 seconds the name I hear the most buzz from is Willis...
  11. Latest on #Panthers pursuit of a franchise QB, which will now start deciding if they love one in the draft. From NFL Now @nflnetwork on location wrapping up league meetings: pic.twitter.com/VK7b758bHk https://twitter.com/CameronWolfe/status/1508890211681333251
  12. People who just paid off Matt Kahlil and still have 0 to show for that massive contract and the loss in the super bowl are the reason people care about finding stability at LT. I don't know one successful franchise that has been this bad at the second most important position on offense and had long term success.. I get it lineman are boring but you need them. Did you even play the sport?
  13. Yeah but who are the good ones running 4.7? Darwin James was what 4.4.. the greatest of all time Ed Reed was 4.3-4.4... u think you have to have functional speed when covering was who are now faster than ever... he doesn't seem very twitchy which I mean change of direction.. I had more faith in Simmons than I do Hamilton... I just know nobody is trying to draft a safety who is already at a undervalued position and ran a slow time.
  14. Hamilton is now rumored to drop out of the top 10 because he ran what a 4.7? Not nearly the Isaiah Simmons freak he was suppose to be.
  15. The franchise that hasn't had a franchise left tackle since Jordan gross and has been a revolving door at the position since. The only qb with the hope of being a franchise qb is Willis and they seem to be in love with Pickett.
  16. Amazed at the corral support around here... wow..
  17. Look at the board and it being a numbers game a few devastating developments seem to be unavoidable now. Before there was a chance one wild move like somebody taking Willis before us would push Neal or icky down. Seems like with the fall of kayvon and the 4.7 by Hamilton none of the teams ahead of us are probably excited to pick either of those 2. Sure Willis combine and pro day rise helps our cause but, he would be replacing just one of the top guys that were already expected to be gone. With the way things are looking maybe even Cross could be pushed up but it's not a sure thing. For us to land Neal or icky I think walker and another prospect has to rise to replace the guys that got pushed down. Maybe sauce Gardner? Looks pretty grim tho. As much as I think Willis is the better longer term qb spot the this team seems like prefers the more conservative approach with Pickett. What say you..
  18. Lol this seems greatly skewed. If he was around 40% no way would be be mentioned as a first rounder... get this out of here.
  19. I mean as much as I love sauce and I don't love him.. that would be the worst pick we could make. What is the point in bringing back Jackson? Giving him a fat contract, getting horn back, having C.J Henderson, pride and whoever else is a hold over? You can only play so many CBs and by adding another player who isn't guaranteed to start you take away a potential starter at QB or LT. This would be a I'm fired move for Rhule for sure. Nothing to to with sauce as a player because I think he's a faster Sherman. I'm a suckered for big CBs. But this helps carolina how? It doesn't improve our biggest weaknesses and automatically puts us in the hole by not filling needs in the draft. CB isn't a need.
  20. Tell that to everyone who has him ranked as the number 1 qb.
  21. I mean if you aren't picking Willis who is a top 10 lock. These guys are pretty much meh or the same. I don't see the value of passing on Willis or a top flight LT just to take a meh Corral and possibility another Greg little. Could these guys turn out to be good? Sure. But the further down you go the greater the risk of a prospect busting.
  22. This. This is the correct answer..only one of the 3 have the upside to become a top 10 qb.
  23. Except for a dui(which is technically a misdemeanor) other wise party on...
