Yup AJ Brown went off in a few games when they needed to pass the ball, Tannehill still went for 3700 yards, 21-14 TD to int ratio. Imagine if Rhule had Derrick Henry instead of CMC and lost him for 8 weeks? Tennessee barely flinched

And if they hadn't picked up his 5th year option would they even resign him now? If not, how idiotic would it be to trade 3 draft picks for one year of whatever that was? Serious lose/lose situation

I could see Pep Hamilton taking a shot. He just coached up Herbert in 2020 and helped Davis Mills look decent in Houston this year. If things don't work out here it won't ruin his career in the long run, if Rhule gets the axe mid season it's a good opportunity for Pep

Yeh don't get the OP, they just made the playoffs and anything goes now. If they make a run why would they let him go? And at the same time why would you think he could/want to walk in to a poo situation and turn it around?

The jags D was ballin all day, the Lions fans had the freakin Wave going during the game. They both know they're on the up and up. Can't wait for the day I never have to listen to a Rhule press conference again or see his confused face on the sideline

I missed the game and just watched the Youtube highlights, seemed like the OL looked a lot better on I'm guessing their 2nd drive when Deonte was in? Every snap on the first drive it was chaos but when Brown was in at least Sam could step in to that quarter of the line for an extra half second. But then they took him out for that 4th and 1 near the goal line, where that's the optimal time to have Deonte and Cam in a package like that? I'm guessing Rhule was hoping Sam could get in the endzone to further justify his reason for taking him, but don't understand why you'd take the brick wall out.

Whats an assistant OL coach do? Run errands for the actual OL coach? Make sure the pads are on the blocking sleds? Sounds like he gained some legit NFL experience doing that for the Giants for one season almost 10 years ago for a dinosaur HC

Yup Gruden was caught wasted, smoking weed hitting on some young chick right around the time he got fired from Washington correct? If they took one of these guys there is no Rhule culture/program building or whatever. For a college coach they owe zero favors to? Pretty sure they'd be more interested in taking a shot coaching Justin Fields or Trevor Lawrence. Darnold is gonna make the best OC available look like a total bust. He's gonna get the leftovers from the 3-4 desirable coaching jobs already interviewing new staff

Pretty sure a Pederson or whoever would go with Bears/Broncos/Raiders/Vikings/even Jaguars over us this offseason. Might as well tie Rhule and Sam to each other and let em stink it up another year, no more excuses or scapegoats

Yeah I think Doug Pederson could do it but he's probably gonna jump right back into a head coaching job in Jacksonville or Denver at this point. Not a great year for us to contend for a legit coach.

Best case scenario is Tepper forces the hire of an actual NFL quality OC who in the back of their mind knows Rhule might get let go halfway through the season and this is their one shot at a future head coaching job. If Rhule picks up on that vibe he may actually say fug it and bounce back to college

Yup 9 interceptions on the year, 2 of those from Gilmore who required zero coaching for his. That puts us in the bottom 5. Between that and Dallas showing everyone you can straight up run all over us we got exposed pretty early on.

I know it's not completely relevant but we sure did go from a top 10 fantasy D to ranking around 25 since the bye week
