Things are gonna change with the NIL endorsement deals and the transfer portal combined. It'll take some time but some smaller schools are gonna be more competitive and some players/coaches will get a lot more recognition for turning around the underdog teams when it's a little bit more even of a playing field

Yeah they had Teddy under contract and the 8th pick in the draft, it was set up perfectly to get your rookie QB. Drafting a bust and trading for a 3 year proven bust is not the same thing. Not money wise or fan excitement wise

He came in with OBJ the same year, 13th best pass blocking O-line and Eli's arm was still functioning. Much different scenario than what he's walking into here. Eli was good at reading the D pre snap, adjusting, and going through his reads, basically the opposite of Darnold.
