  1. I like that analysis, you can coach up pocket work and pre snap reads. Can't teach the arm strength and improv skills. Only guy this draft that could possibly be a Mahomes/Allen/Wilson type
  2. Not that I've seen, mostly just raw footwork in the pocket, wasn't really in a system where he was reading pre-snap, just rolling with the punches. Occasionally doesn't run when he could. As far as making crazy ass Mahommes/Allen/Dangeruss throws he can do that naturally and should only get better at it. This is a long but decent film breakdown. In some portions the dude gives him poo for throwing a bad ball but to me they're mostly dead plays where he throws the ball off the ideal mark but favoring the receiver/away from possible interceptions on purpose. I'll take that over just chucking it into the sidelines where there's zero chance of anything.
  3. Same guy had excuses for Howell- On occasion, the ball got away from him, but the rain this afternoon was worse than the morning’s practice.
  4. Malik looks like the velocity is effortless, best arm so far at least. Guess we'll see better footage tmrw
  5. "So you see even though Slater was an all pro LT this year, he's actually a guard and in my system he'd be ready to start in maybe 3 years!"
  6. Have never heard of a job with this much leeway
  7. A 12 year old could press Rhule in an interview right now about what he's good at/what's gone well and it'd be pure deflection
  8. So he's like a consultant with bad ideas that gets the last say because they gave him a bad contract and don't know how to go about firing him yet
  9. If Tepper could draft a spreadsheet or something of pros and cons of Rhule I just don't see anything that checks a box on the pros. Can't OC or DC, bad evaluator, bad with time outs, bad at pressers, sounds like he's a dick in the locker room, annoying voice, That's pretty much all the boxes
  10. He actually embarassed himself pretty badly trying to hit a talking dummy. He's just a joke at all levels
  11. Rhule has a way with words and it's in the wrong direction
  12. Cam was a total professional in a shitty situation this year, he'll be ok. Rhule is gonna be talking in circles for the rest of his life. Even the bad head coaches of the last 5 years mostly got coordinator jobs or went back to college, don't see Rhules appeal to anyone at this point
  13. Aside from not even knowing how to call plays or timeouts, he doesn't have a clue how to treat grown ass men. He might not even get a decent college job whenever Tepper pulls the plug. I see nothing of value. With the new college endorsement deals and transfer portal what does he even bring to the table at that level? He was like a last chance U coach for a few years and got lucky
  14. Tre Boston/Stew/Steve Smith have all said things, Teddy and Eli Apple. Guys on the roster w no job security aren't gonna say anything right now. Even Cam said half the locker room isn't sold on the "process"
  15. Man he sounds like a real dick behind the scenes. Starting to think the team basically quit on him shortly after that Cardinals game. Probably got all cocky around that time
  16. Looks like it might rain at the senior bowl so that'll be a good test
  17. Yup one decent year (as a 5th year senior), not buying it. Already throws with the velocity of a 35 year old. He went back to school because he was gonna go like round 4-5 last draft. That said Rhule will throw out his analytics about arm length and gait retraining and whatever else he reads about and draft him because he liked him coming out of high school and they met in person once
  18. That’s what the 49ers needed in the last 1:46 on Sunday, with the faint hopes of knotting the score with a field goal or in their wildest dreams, putting the game away with a 75-yard touchdown drive. Instead, San Francisco got two things: A drive that featured an incompletion, a reception for -3 yards and an interception. And a titanic reminder that Garoppolo is a quarterback problem, not a solution https://sports.yahoo.com/49-ers-doubt-in-jimmy-garoppolo-drove-them-to-pursue-aaron-rodgers-and-draft-trey-lance-sundays-nfc-title-game-showcased-why-081345068.html Pretty straight forward damning assessment of Jimmy G not being the guy, and the 49ers already knew it a year ago
  19. Hey they rushed 3, dropped 8 and got a sack at the 9:00 mark
  20. They started dropping 8 into coverage, having one safety move up and linebackers drop back to basically have a double team on every WR/TE. Surprisingly seams like the Chiefs didn't adjust and start running more and Mahomes was just standing back there numerous times having no idea what to do
  21. Saints are looking at coaches that actually know what they're doing, we're gonna be a year behind them
  22. This is why you throw out the game manager "We don't need you to be a leader" QB talk. In the playoffs you need a guy to sling it. I'd rather suck til we get a guy in the draft than recycle the Darnolds and Jimmy G's of the world. Stafford got it done in the last couple weeks despite Mcvay getting nervous and going conservative on some calls
  23. Only issue for the Rams has been Mcvay taking the ball out of Staffords hands when Mcvay gets nervous
  24. Why waste multiple draft picks for Jimmy G on a worse team
