  1. Or he's so sidetracked by Soccer he doesn't even give a poo. He'll wait til the stadium is empty
  2. I'm pretty sure no one is going through the trouble of adding a feather symbol to the word indian when you can just say native american lol. Welcome to the 2000's. The only reason the term indian was ever used is because Columbus' dumbass thought he was in India
  3. His agent would be like Don't fuging Do That!!! All this hypothetical free agency stuff with QB's and O-line is not realistic. No one is coming here unless it's their last option, until Rhule is gone
  4. He's at the least smart enough to realize he's a great backup to Josh Allen, could eventually step in and be a Nick Foles level guy. Those Kinda guys aren't gonna blow that by being one and done for Rhule.
  5. Yeah I really doubt Belichick was planning on him being anything besides a place holder at the position. He pretty much drafts a qb every two years, unlike the Panthers who prefer to try and fix other teams busts
  6. Totally agree, I left out the 2019/Burns year because there weren't any QB's worth taking, same as this year unless we had a 2nd/3rd rnd pick and you wanted a long term backup/developmental guy for cheap.
  7. Yeah don't agree with their trade up logic for Lance, but for us..We took CMC over Mahommes/Watson, DJ Moore over Lamar Jackson, YGM over Jalen Hurts(2nd round). All of those were worth the gamble instead of the safer pick and wouldn't have set us back any more than we already are from churning through other teams castaway QB's since 2018
  8. This a usually optimistic objective guy's opinion on the state of the Panthers and he pretty much nails it.
  9. If only to find another excuse to convince Tepper to give him another couple years. It's blatant at this point, Rhule doesn't have a process besides grifting until the well runs dry and then moving on to the next sucker. I don't like having an incompetent HC in over his head trying to save his job by any means necessary with an owner giving him extra leash to hope it somehow works out, too much gambling and no structure
  10. It's our only pick until the 4th round due to a bunch of gambles and trades Rhule seemed for the most part to be in control of. People are upset because we should be in year 3 of the rebuild and ready to take over the NFC South with Sean Payton and Tom Brady gone, the Falcons being in denial of their need to blow things up and start a rebuild. Instead we've been running in circles and basically looking like needing to do a full reset in 2023. It's more than just blowing one draft pick, it's possibly Rhule trying to save his job with another gamble to the detriment of the Panthers long term success
  11. Yup, they both bailed on Temple after committing. Looking forward to the leadership qualities in these two guys next year
  12. That's pretty much what I would do as well, but Rhule is so petty and insecure he probably sees Willis as someone who will potentially overshadow him.
  13. Sure would be nice to have Fields ready to take over, $20m in extra cap space and the 2nd round pick back
  14. Yup so I get the sense from that Walter thing that Rhule wanted Fitt because Hurney was probably too opionated in the draft, and judging by Rhules current trend of tossing guys out of the building that don't make him look good it sounds like he's gonna keep on scapegoating until Tepper moves on. Rhule said Joe Brady was his decision right? Either that or he ok'd it even though it took him out of his comfort zone of a full Baylor staff. Either way it's a bad look. I don't think when people were hyping Rhule up they were anticipating him just taking as many Baylor/Temple pieces he possibly could to fill out the players and staff. Or they didn't realize he doesn't have any relationships with NFL caliber coaches
  15. I don't follow them much besides their free agent tracker, but it doesn't seem like they're generally in the drama business. I could be wrong though.
  16. I dunno about exciting and young, not a good season til his 5th year. Only a year younger than Darnold. Now Willis yes, exciting and young that was mentored by Cam
  17. And then we trade away our 25 year old 1st round qb bust (Pickett, not Darnold although basically the same age and bust factor) for like a 3rd or something. Sounds like the Panthers way
  18. This smells of Rhule wanting the guy he tried to recruit 5 years ago. They have the whole flaking on their commitment thing in common
  19. I'd take Zion in rnd 2 if we trade back
  20. Pickett's balls are pretty uninspiring so far, Dunno if he's that much different than a Will Grier type
  21. Looks like he's adjusting to the NFL coaching/pocket game fine, albeit just practice
  22. I like that analysis, you can coach up pocket work and pre snap reads. Can't teach the arm strength and improv skills. Only guy this draft that could possibly be a Mahomes/Allen/Wilson type
  23. Not that I've seen, mostly just raw footwork in the pocket, wasn't really in a system where he was reading pre-snap, just rolling with the punches. Occasionally doesn't run when he could. As far as making crazy ass Mahommes/Allen/Dangeruss throws he can do that naturally and should only get better at it. This is a long but decent film breakdown. In some portions the dude gives him poo for throwing a bad ball but to me they're mostly dead plays where he throws the ball off the ideal mark but favoring the receiver/away from possible interceptions on purpose. I'll take that over just chucking it into the sidelines where there's zero chance of anything.
