  1. I don't think it's the right move but I think they probably have those two LT's and 2 Qb's as their top 4 in whatever order and they're obviously drafting for need this year. Penning actually fits the O-line vibe more than Cross but he could be a penalty machine
  2. Mayfield if the Browns cut him and he'll do a prove it deal for like $5M. I'd take Minshew over Mayfield personally
  3. I wish Tepper would call a spade a spade and dump Rhule. When we do get a new QB someone in the media needs to put him on blast for such a dumb trade and 5th year option pickup. Needs to admit the mistake in a press conference, not just pretend like this mess never existed
  4. I had no idea they can cut Jimmy G and save like $25M. Only $1.4M bonus guaranteed. Not sure what leverage we'd have.
  5. Neal. Stronger/bigger, both solid in pass pro but Neal is better in the run game. Our FA guys (Oline and Foreman at RB) are suited to a power run scheme
  6. Not sure how it went that far because that was a total duck by Ridder.
  7. This doesn't have an affect on all the civil lawsuits, he could still be ordered to pay damages for emotional distress/trauma etc if those go to trial. At this point he'll probably try to settle out of court and pay $1-2M to each person. If he goes to trial for those it'll just be more graphic details leaked and people crying on the stand and it'll be a nightmare PR situation to deal with
  8. Any word on if/when civil trials would happen? At this point I'm sure he's trying to settle out of court but last I heard he wanted NDA's in exchange for settling and it's a little late for that. Public trials just another horrible look and media circus potentially forcing Goodell to lay down a heavy suspension
  9. I'm staying at 6 and if the 2 LT's and Willis are gone already I'd trade back 3-10 spots or so for a 2nd rounder, grab Penning or Zion, grab whatever in the 2nd between the best QB/LB/DE available
  10. Not ideal timing for his introductory presser tmrw. This ones pretty graphically detailed and not a good look at all
  11. It's tricky because say the Chiefs, they were a good roster but couldn't win the Super Bowl until they got Mahomes. Though now with the O-line falling apart Mahomes obviously can only do so much himself, and now with Tyreek leaving it'll be interesting to see how much a dent that puts in his QB numbers.
  12. After watching his breakdown I don't really want any of these guys except a trade back and gamble on Malik, but at least 2 of these guys are getting drafted in the top 10 purely out of desperation at the position. I really don't like how he broke down Picketts thumb issue/glove compensation and how that gives him that weird over the top throwing motion and limits his ability to throw sidearm
  13. As bad a take as Rhule still claiming Slater isn't a Left Tackle
  14. Can we make a post threshold for being able to make new threads? We can't curse but have to subjugate ourselves to clicking on this garbage?
  15. And no one would offer to pay you $20-40M a year if you couldn't handle the mental pressure, nature of the business
  16. Robby restructure pushed $5M to next year, CMC the same, Donte bonus pushed $5M back and his cap is only $6M this year, Bozeman was only $3M total when we were assuming $8ish. So yeah added $15M to next years hit to keep room for now but if we don't spend the money it'll carry over
  17. Just started watching but why had McDaniels been on the floor for like 6 minutes? JB makes some weird ass decisions
  18. Instead of just linking it he had to go here haha. That was my question mark
  19. NY Daily News is a borderline tabloid so I'm going 50/50 true. They're known more for their witty front page reactions than actual journalism
  20. Especially going 3rd in the pro day order. Plenty of tips to pick up from the first two days, and they didn't even start til 3pm. Also didn't have good chemistry with his receivers mentally or physically, despite all his talk of being a team guy or whatever. Pickett was all business and Malik was having a good time and encouraging his guys, I like both those approaches better than whatever we just watched
  21. We're probably looking at a quality career backup in Pickett, Gamble with Willis, and an often injured Mayfield/Heinicke journeyman type in Corral
  22. Also because we had a run of Herbert/Burrow/Jones/Watson/Mahommes/Tua/Trevor/Wilson etc in the last 5 years expectations are high. Feels like there was a good 5-10 year stretch before that where you were getting maybe 1 starter/non bust a year on average, or teams just had there long term Vet from the early 2000's and were set
  23. After the Senior Bowl and Pro Days I would say Willis #1 in leadership/hyping guys up. Willis was telling his WR's to brush off the drops and was really excited they were getting a chance to perform in front of national media. Corral just looked kinda bossy with his guys, and irritated about the routes/accuracy whatever the actual issue was today. Don't remember the chemistry with Pickett's pro day, was the most business like.
  24. It wasn't a very professional pro day, from the accuracy, to the routes, tempo, everything. Every aspect of it was not great compared to Malik and Pickett. Only pro's really were his quick release and he looks healthy.
  25. The whole tempo of the workout and the camera made it pretty blah. Accuracy was either not great or they didn't practice the routes enough before hand.
