  1. The fact that WFT and Dolphins who were basically out of playoff contention came in more motivated than our team is all on the coaching staff. Just one win between the two games would have us back in the wildcards. Ultimately I'd rather this staff get fired than make the playoffs this year. Pretty sure 2019 was at least more enjoyable to watch than this current mess
  2. Yup a full happy stadium on a consistent basis outweighs the financial loss of paying Rhule to go away. If we were horrible last year and steadily improving with a young team it would be one thing, but Rhule has traded/gambled a lot of capital away to try to mask his coaching deficiencies. The Jets were smart enough to not give him full control and then stole 3 draft picks from us for Sam Darnold...That's getting played by one of the worst NFL franchises in the league
  3. Yup, they passed on Slater in the first, numerous O-line options at pick 2 for a WR who was a healthy scratch today, took a long snapper who they benched/IR'd instead of taking Trey Smith in the 6TH ROUND. Gave up all our day 2 picks next year for Darnold/other projects. Talk about poor execution and missed opportunities and DBO's...
  4. And instead of accumulating draft picks to actually rebuild we've traded them away for guys that won't be here in 2 years. Not that this staff has shown any hope of knowing how to develop young players.
  5. We already know there will be zero half time adjustments, and coaches will blame execution in the pressers
  6. Rhule is a moron. I just started watching, why exactly do we have zero timeouts again?
  7. Yeah Sam didn't get the 5th year til during the draft so draft picks+Darnold's 5th year option wiped out like $25mil in one weekend if you're going by having $60mil last March or whenever the league resets
  8. Maybe that was before Darnold got his 5th year option? Add Cam's $6m out of the roll over money plus Henderson's contract and that would be close to that math
  9. I think it's closer to $30mil according to over the cap. Need about 5-6$m for the draft, so $25 mil to pay Cam, Gilmore, Reddick. Even with setting up bonuses on those deals we'd maybe have $10m left for signing dudes like Luvu, Haynes, backup OL etc. It's really not that much and not many contracts to restructure besides Shaq. I guess you could try CMC/Robby/Moton but their deals are just getting started so weird time to restructure.
  10. I think Daviyon Nixon was playing some underrated DT before he got injured, Phil Hoskins still isn't up to speed so you're left with Bravvion-Rex as your only rotational DT
  11. His intermediate passes actually look like they have more touch on them though, he's not sailing balls over guys heads like he used to. Could be a combination of maturity and limitation, but I think he was 70% last week when he was generally 58-60% in the past
  12. Everything you're not suppose to do? Bad hands, bad feet. Christensen gets beat too/doesn't get a good push on the DE but PJ coulda stepped up if there was a couple feet in front of him
  13. Why's Mcdaniels getting all these minutes?
  14. Nope, viewed as a backup/developmental swing tackle and maybe guard in a pinch among most. Rhule was the one who said he graded higher as a guard, a position he never played in college and considering his weakness is the bull rush makes zero sense that he should be going against DT's in the middle. Just say you drafted a backup/developmental LT in the 3rd round and let him work on it at the pro level for a year. He looked fine at RT in the preseason as well but they got cute and tried to put Moton at RT for that one game and he got two false starts. Just develop guys at their positions and have Erving/Scott/Daley/Elf be your emergency swing guys. For as much as Rhule loves very average John Miller they just stuck him at RG and forgot about it
  15. Seems like teams are making moves over this coming Holiday weekend, Nagy possibly gone in Chicago after next game as well
  16. Yup Cam came in and immediately started working w Ryan, shows who he was comfortable communicating with. I know he's learning the terminology etc while Brady is working on his gameplan or whatever. Brady just doesn't seem to know how to utilize the talent he has or the communication skills to work one on one with the players, let alone in game situational play calling.
  17. Running 5-10 more yards while the ball is in the air is splitting hairs with the QB waiting for you to turn around on your comeback route. We don't need Ted Ginn deep, just throw the ball 20-30 yards occasionally
  18. I dunno, this coaching staff picked up so many project/developmental players like they're some kinda football whisperers, yet they haven't even figured out how to do their own jobs yet. Bit off more than they can chew. I dunno if they could be afraid of drafting a QB when they declared they could fix Darnold and get him to buy into this so called "culture" we've yet to see emerge
  19. What's really sad is there's not a team in the NFL that would consider hiring Rhule as a Coordinator on either side of the ball. Plenty of head coach busts that went back to coordinating at a good level, Rhule doesn't even know the game
  20. Cam and CMC had a good game, Rhule is running out of excuses. He basically through Brady under the bus today as his standard snake oil salesman style. Over it
  21. Imagine as a player going to the locker room at half time and the coaching staff just says "Execute the game plan that isn't working!"
  22. So the coaching staff sucks, welcome to college coaches running an NFL team
