Yeah I feel like this is the used car salesman's last push to convince Tepper that he didn't blow it investing that much into Darnold. At this point he doesn't care about anything but trying to force Sam into some level of success to justify Tepper keeping them both around next year. The Rhule culture seems to be excuses and scapegoating to cover his own ineptitude for as long as possible

Yes, because other teams drafted quality linemen, if they aren't quality they release them. It's like the rarest position to fix in free agency. That all defensive draft was cool though

So what does he even bring to the table? He's not a play caller on either side, not good at motivating grown men, horrible with time outs, no half time adjustments, etc. If you're gonna replace everything else just put a more likeable guy as the rah rah head coach. At least someone who can do a decent press conference and not sound like he's guilty of something/lying the whole time

If Rhule and Darnold are here next year I'll just focus on fantasy football

Can you not read the body language of the players? No one believes in this coaching staff and Rhule has no answers, no adjustments incoming, just gonna do the same poo over and over again til the season is over. Rhule was probably excited Zane got injured so he had yet another excuse for a loss

I kinda watched the last two games, going through the board from a semi outside point of view it sucks. Even the Dolphins/WFT/Lions actualy seem to care even though they suck. We look like we're still in preseason, nothing to tank for, stuck with Sam, etc. Best we can hope for is to find a coach that will take on this mess and start to win some games later next season? It's weird because we have talent so who knows how fast it could be turned around
