  1. Sounds like more of a chemistry issue from splitting reps with the QB's and O-line than anything. I expect defenses to look better on day one during these kinda joint practices anyway.
  2. Pretty sad, I think it's been common sense for every single person on this board and the media that you take the guys you drafted and guys that have proven themselves on other teams and let them gel. Zero reason to have Jordan battling for anything besides a practice squad spot, after the WFT game he should be behind Mays on the depth chart
  3. Patriots always do that. Cam broke his foot in preseason against the Pats because they kept sending crazy blitzes. They love to send 6-7 guys and play man in the secondary, works out often but it is kinda fuged up to do in meaningless games
  4. So from the Pats perspective they destroyed our O-line all day. Seriously need to settle on the starting 5 and let them gel By our count, we had the Patriots with nine quarterback pressures during 11-on-11 periods. Judon, Wise, safety Jabrill Peppers, and linebacker Jahlani Tavai would've likely sacked Carolina's quarterbacks if they were allowed to tackle QBs in practice. At times, there were open receivers downfield, which is noteworthy context that we'll need to monitor as joint practices continue, but the pressure altered almost every throw it seemed.
  5. Low and away from the defender, seems fine to me.
  6. Seems like we always have one draft pick that can never stay healthy, Rhule pulled him today for letting up on a route awkwardly, not sure if he returned after that
  7. Robbie can't hold back his enthusiasm for playing with Baker and actually getting deep balls thrown his way, tries to brush off the competition question but not a great poker face on that one
  8. The fumble in the game was also snapped insanely low. That's what the Pats radio guys were talking about, snapping it like 5 inches off the ground
  9. Carolina defensive backs punched out three footballs in four pass plays. Panthers defensive players were very loud and clearly trash talking the Patriots offense.
  10. Most of it was our secondary/LB's looked good, our O-line was getting destroyed and our QB's were inaccurate/rushing throws under pressure
  11. Ellis Williams was quiet but I'm sure he was taking detailed notes for a proper write up later today
  12. Rhule says Jordan will continue to battle at LG...
  13. Baker having a rough day and they say he still looks better than Darnold
  14. Pats radio confused by the QB competition
