  1. Yeah I know Luvu is pretty good in that role, but wasn't expecting Luvu/Shaq/and Chinn to be his answer to losing a guy that basically played DE in a 4 man front. No problem with those guys blitzing with more traditional DE's on the line, or just go 3/4 if you want to send guys that light constantly
  2. Definitely would prefer him over watching Alex Erickson fair catch everything
  3. Didn't say much besides Wilks wants to keep Chinn at Safety, and mentioning a bunch of LB's coming off the edge to replace Reddicks snaps. Which seems odd considering we were getting demolished in the run game last year playing lighter guys on the edges
  4. Decent returner, pretty sure we don't have one on the roster
  5. I mean Sams got everything but the brain. His 2018 comments were pretty much the same as today, has occasional magic to his game but has some fundamental issues that no one's ever really bothered to work on. Either way McAdoo is struck me as way smarter than Rhule and much better with his choice of words.
  6. McAdoo says Sam has some magic in flashes he wants to get more consistent. No comment on Baker, not his first media rodeo. He's obviously a lot smarter than Rhule
  7. Just that horrible WFNZ interview where he still claimed Slater isn't a Left tackle...
  8. I might prefer a Panthers reality TV show over watching the actual games at this point. "Football Nightmares"
  9. I agree, hopefully we learned our lesson from the Sam trade, probably could have gotten him for just a 3rd or 4th if we'd waiting til after the draft. Or maybe we even had just kept Teddy/drafted Fields if the FO were patient in an obvious rebuild year.
  10. Woah I didn't realize Minshew went 2 rounds after Grier. Thanks Hurney
  11. Sounds like the perfect guy for our head coach who has the same delusional mindset
  12. If they were to do a straight Darnold/Mayfield trade I think it'd have us including at least a 4th rounder or average player to give them some incentive to fill out the paperwork if they're gonna cut whichever QB anyway. Jacoby is getting his $4.5M and knows he'll get to start the first handful of games so I doubt they want any extra drama going into OTA's/training Camp with one of these 2018 busts hangin around
  13. They already picked up Jacoby Brissett as their backup, Don't see how it would be to their advantage if they'd just cut the new bust for the same $19M cap hit. It's tricky because usually these kinda guys would do a restructure and trade deal like how we got rid of Teddy, but not sure these guys on guaranteed 5th year options are willing to work with the teams that are kinda screwing the whole situations up for everyone. If I were Baker or Sam I'd say F U cut me and give me my money and I'll figure it out myself.
  14. Pickett bailing from clean pockets/3 man rush, throwing softballs into the zone that NFL secondaries will feast on, I just don't see his game translating against legit pro competition.
  15. If it's his only starting opportunity maybe. If he could back up Tom Brady for a year/fill in during injuries it'd potentially be more beneficial to himself in the long run. Aside from those two options who would want him? Texans? Cards if Murray holds out?
  16. I mean a couple teams might add him in like a Buffalo/Trubisky role but even then his attitude might not be worth it. Maybe the Bucs would take him if he's cut and let Brady keep him in line, if he's willing to take on that responsibility.
  17. Just glancing at next years numbers we could clear like $17M cutting/trading Robby and Elflein next year. We may only end up using like $8M of what we have now for the draft if we don't trade for a QB, so carry that $22M over. That's like $44M without any additional restructures or anything. It's interest free to do all the restructuring/bonus crap so as long as you don't blow the extra money you just borrowed on lets say one year of Jimmy G, there's no harm done.
