  1. Ikey better in the run game, still needs some work in pass pro. Cross kinda the opposite, technician in pass pro but not really a mauler in the run game. If we could trade back and get Cross and a 2nd round pick I'd be down. Running mock drafts there's a lot of good talent on day 2, we picked a bad year to trade away our 2nd's and 3rd's
  2. Philly has 2 firsts next year, they'll probably give Hurts this year to prove himself and if he's not the answer they can move up next year. They've got other issues to address this year before they really need to go gambling on another QB
  3. In that case they should stick with their 2 1st round picks and grab Penning and a QB to redshirt for a year? Don't think they have a starting LT on their roster currently
  4. We just grabbed Bozeman in FA though, even if we did take Linderbaum, Bozeman is a way better guard than Brady. I'd take Zion as our LG over Linderbaum and play Bozeman at C
  5. I think they trade up and take Neal or Ikey at 5 if available, otherwise sit at their picks and take QB/WR/Zion/Penning, whoever's there.
  6. It could be for Ikey or Neal if either of them are sitting there at 5 though. They lost Armstead
  7. If the Giants still have 7, that's a believable trade. 7th, 16th, and 19th might be more useful in a draft like this.
  8. He's about the same weight and an inch or two taller than Jonathan Taylor/Chubb, bigger than CMC, has like 20 pounds on Chuba
  9. I really want to like Ikey but his pass pro is not that great on film..Neal is more the total package, and Cross is the safe pass pro guy but probably only a 10% upgrade over BC. Would be a nice draft to have a bunch of day 2 picks but of course we're 1 and done until we get to the depth project guys
  10. I'm sure Zion will go before him as just a guard. I haven't watched much tape but is he really that much better than Lindstrom going in the 4th-5th in mocks? For us we have Bozeman and Elflein so all we really need to do is get some kind draft help on the left side at some point. Even if we start our current roster I think we're already better than 2020/21. Depth isn't pretty rn and I'm hoping they can get to a point where they can just dump Cam Erving, seems like a morale deflater
  11. Basically Teddy but he's gonna try to force some throws and get a few more picks. If he bails that easily from the pocket in college he's gonna have a rough first season in the NFL
  12. At best they'll get some team to take him for $5M-ish and a mid round draft pick, if they have any left after trading for Watson.
  13. Would much rather take a LB over Ridder if those were the options. I'd rather take Aqeel Glass in the 5th than Ridder in the 2nd if we're just swinging at one just to do it
  14. And proceeded to suck in every draft since, aside from Tyler Lockett who was a good pick. Tepper just heard the Seahawks name and was like oh yeah that's a good team must be a smart guy!
  15. Orlovsky also said Jordan Love was a better prospect than Justin Herbert. I get that he's saying Pickett isn't anything special, but unless Sam takes a major leap, it's obvious not every guy with physical talent can be mentally coached up
  16. Some new Fitt stuff from the Observer: JMA: How were you all able to find or identify a guy like Russell Wilson, and did you realize beforehand, like, ‘Oh, he can be a franchise guy?’ SF: This is kind of an interesting story. John Schneider was the GM at the time, went and evaluated Russell on campus early in the fall. He came back and said, ‘Fitt, I found our quarterback.’ I’m like ‘Who? I thought you went to Wisconsin?’ He said, ‘I did. Russell Wilson. I’m going to take that guy in the first round. This is our guy.’ And he knew right away because he saw him on the field, the command we talked about a little bit earlier. He said, ‘He has that.’ And he learned the playbook in like three weeks, became the captain right away, he has something special to him. I’m like John, ‘He’s like 5-10 1/2.’ Every quarterback at that time was like 6-2, 6-3, 6-4. He goes, ‘Yeah, but if you really look at it, the balls aren’t getting batted down, he’s moving in the pocket, he’s doing a lot of different things.’ So as we went through the process, we really kind of were drawn to him. There were a lot of quarterbacks that year, but he was like the one guy that had that ‘it’ factor to him. So we interviewed him at the senior bowl, and then the combine we kind of stayed away from him. We knew we were going to go down that road. And we just kind of played it really quiet with him and we took him. And I think we knew the first minicamp was like a week or two after the draft, he came in, they mic’d him up and once he stepped in the huddle, he wasn’t a rookie. He owned that position. We had gone through three, four or five quarterbacks. We had all these guys coming through and we kept swinging till we found one. It’s kind of the same situation we’re going through right now. We’re going to keep swinging on quarterbacks, taking shots until we find that guy that can lead our team. 17. I'm completely confused every time he enters the game. Why does he get minutes over Thor?
  18. I mean Brady doesn't really need a coach and Bowles is still probably running the defense as HC so it's not like they'll be any different on the field.
  19. He's moving to the front office, was going to do it eventually and wanted to leave Todd Bowles in a position to succeed as the new HC. Got their poo together better than us for sure
