  1. That all sounds about right. I can't for the life of me understand why McDaniels got 20 minutes a game playing with very little energy, and JT Thor would come in randomly for a couple minutes here and there and get everyone pumped up with a block or dunk etc.
  2. Borrego was closer to a Rivera kinda guy. People liked him but stubborn about playing his vets over talented young guys just sitting on the bench. Also choking in back to back play-in games, basically playing street ball against coaches that came in with playoff level game plans.
  3. Yup when no one wants to block or rebound and you have JT Thor/Kai wasting away on the bench it made no sense to me. Isiah Thomas is cool but you just drafted Bouknight in the 1st and proceeded to bench him basically the whole year. No "development" in moves like these
  4. Was too dejected after another play-in blowout, but it's interesting these guys felt comfortable speaking openly about things directly related to coaching.
  5. Yup. It'll be interesting to see if Bouknight/Thor/Kai can get some actual minutes under a new HC.
  6. Usually a guy threatens to sit out because he wants a real contract instead of the 5th year option. Mayfield is already guaranteed the money as far as I know, if they don't get him off the roster I suppose he could get some fines for not showing up but I don't know if it'd equal the whole amount or if the money would magically go back into the Browns cap space.
  7. I do think if theres a trade up it's going to be to get in front of us, leaving us potentially stuck at 6 with no day two picks.
  8. Raimann kinda scares me that high, Austrian foreign exchange student might not have the mauler vibe we're looking for. If we move back far enough to get a legit bag of 2nd and 3rd round picks you got guys like Zion/Kenyon Green/Kinnard/Sean Rhyan and a couple others that would all be interesting Late 1st/day 2 guys
  9. I agree with most aside from Baker is Matt Rhules kinda guy. If Teddy was too outspoken for Rhule can't imagine how petty he would be with Baker
  10. This is a great piece, plenty of f bombs in this as well
  11. Then he was talking about busting ass, and then when he was leaving he mumbled "I fuged up", and then I think another "sh*t"
  12. Almost said "gritty M-fer" then actually said "oh sh*t" haha
  13. Not concerned with BC's arm length, but does go into the position flexibility thing and says Rhule will ultimately decide who starts...
  14. Exactly, when his tackles are tackling Jermaine Carters guy after picking up 8-15 yards it's not the same production, just wasting him on clean up duty. I also prefer him running with TE's than getting lost in deep coverage, 105.3 average QB rating when Chinn was targeted
  15. Maybe but the Jets had a list of experienced coordinators for Rhule to pick from and that's why that job fell through. He proceeded to fill our staff with a bunch of Baylor guys and Joe Brady, and now we're stuck in this shitty position. 2 years wasted on paying this guy top 10 coaching money to learn on the job
  16. Tepper is the one that gave Rhule a 7 year contract. If it was a reasonable contract he'd probably be gone already, and wouldn't have had full control of the roster/Coordinators in the first place
  17. Yeah he also mentioned Cory Littleton, another LB. I'm hoping YGM actually gets some snaps because he has the size we need to seal the edge in the run game. We've been developing bad habits not playing our draft picks enough in favor of journeymen FA's.
  18. Yeah I know Luvu is pretty good in that role, but wasn't expecting Luvu/Shaq/and Chinn to be his answer to losing a guy that basically played DE in a 4 man front. No problem with those guys blitzing with more traditional DE's on the line, or just go 3/4 if you want to send guys that light constantly
  19. Definitely would prefer him over watching Alex Erickson fair catch everything
  20. Didn't say much besides Wilks wants to keep Chinn at Safety, and mentioning a bunch of LB's coming off the edge to replace Reddicks snaps. Which seems odd considering we were getting demolished in the run game last year playing lighter guys on the edges
  21. Decent returner, pretty sure we don't have one on the roster
