  1. Great write up on his pros and cons here, he went from one OC to Kiffen, got way better but struggled against some looks he wasn't used to in 2020, and eventually had a better record in 2021 despite losing Elijah Moore. Sounds like he actually reads/reacts too fast, opposite of Darnold. That's easier to fix than trying to speed someone up who just doesn't have it upstairs. https://www.nbcsportsedge.com/article/nfl-draft-analysis/2022-nfl-draft-rankings-qb2-matt-corral
  2. He's gotta do something up top to compensate for that lower 90%.
  3. Maybe he doesn't love media interviews but he's a total 180 from Sam Darnold in the locker room and the huddle from what I've heard. They held weekly team therapy sessions at Ole Miss where he encouraged players to speak their minds and be vulnerable about any personal issues so the team could really build a connection.
  4. He'll look better once he gets NFL caliber WR's back. He threw to nobodies last year
  5. That's about the same 65 yards Willis had to throw his whole body into at his pro day
  6. And Grier wasn't ever taken seriously. Just a Hurney family favor
  7. Last I heard Rhule was trying to reteach TMJ his gait, which sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.
  8. I think in that scenario we could leave McAdoo at OC and let Wilks be the motivational speaker HC if that's the goal.
  9. I also love this instant Ridder slander. Dude has a duck for an arm, seems like a good guy though
  10. I think he's the best in the pocket/under pressure in this class, who's better? It's not Pickett or Malik
  11. I think he's learned to sit back and let other people save his job. The hubris to think he could fix Sam and CJ, add some random Baylor guys that are trash just because he recruited them, I don't see what he adds to an organization. He needs to learn how to at least manage time outs before he gets any more responsibilities, including picking starters
  12. That was actually a really good breakdown of how he plays in the pocket. I liked the end piece where they point out Pickett crumbles under pressure and Corral goes all in, for better or worse. Rhule likes a Jimmy G so I'm pretty sure he got over-Rhuled on this pick.
  13. So around the 20 min mark, he can go through reads without bailing. I think he'll be committed to getting very good in the pocket, just increase the reads gradually and slow him down a little. The opposite of Darnold who panics yet can't read the field until it's too late
  14. You can kinda tell that from his recent demeanor. Looks like he got yelled at for pissing on the carpet
  15. He was very excited about learning how to coordinate practices from the Colts and Ravens last year, basically admitted it in the pressers
  16. He should even let McAdoo call the time outs, he's in way over his head. Just pat guys on the back and make sure they're hydrated
  17. People are seriously underrating his intelligence when it comes to adjusting to the NFL game. Ickey and Moton are probably the the smartest guys on the team
  18. Ickey at LG and BC at LT is probably better than the opposite. Ideally Cade or Deonte win the guard job, Ickey starts at LT and BC is a solid backup swing tackle
  19. But he was scared of a vaccine? I thought he was like the all natural medicine dude.
  20. After Teddy and Sams laid back attitudes, and getting a little glimpse of Cams leadership in real life, I can see how they're over those kinda guys.
  21. Corral has put on 7 pounds since last season/whenever he weighed in last year and is 212. Currently exact same measurements as Lamar Jackson, who is not as big as people assume. Obviously don't want him to run as much as Lamar does but I think he'll be alright, he didn't have to spend all offseason training for the combine and all that poo so probably just focused on bulking up a little.
  22. I think if Rhule lets Campen do his job we'll have a top 15 O-line. Probably top 10 in rushing, average in pass pro
