  1. Here's Jordan on the right side with Erving at LT trying to get Sam killed on the TD pass
  2. Watching the replay, Jonathan Allen is the nicest guy in the world. He destroyed Jordan multiple times and each time quit once he got to Baker instead of putting him on the ground
  3. Watching replay- first Shi Smith catch, Jordan has no one to block so he drifts to the left to watch BC block his guy out effectively. Elflein gets beat by his guy who runs clean through the gap Jordan leaves open and rocks Baker right as he gets the pass off. Elf and Jordan do not need to be on the field especially at the same time
  4. Another question is if this was a legit QB battle, why would Rhule give them different O-lines to play behind for their respective series? Just pick your 5 O-line for the 1st quarter and play them, let McAdoo do his thing with everything the same but a different QB.
  5. There is no way they can look at that tape and justify any of the mistakes those two made. It's also consistent of traits they've displayed throughout their whole careers, they aren't getting better no matter who coaches them.
  6. Kinda baffling they won't experiment with BC at LT and Ickey at LG. As much as I dislike them constantly shuffling guys around I think those two should be together on the left side for gelling purposes and it would be an easy adjustment to swap them when the time comes. Certainly better than having Jordan out there in any combo as Verge noted
  7. Those two O-line combos were head scratchers. I think BC/Jordan/Elf/Corbett/Taylor with Baker and then Ickey/BC/Boze/Jordan/Erving with Sam. That is not a recipe for success, and we don't need to pretend guys like Jordan and Erving are battling for starting jobs.
  8. We're desperate for D-line help once teams start cutting guys. Pretty underwhelming from a power standpoint
  9. Linebackers might actually be a pleasant surprise with these pickups. Littleton is gonna be a fan favorite and a leader by week 5 I think
  10. Makes no sense, some guys have to earn every little rep they get, some guys Rhule tries to force into success because he had a hunch he can't admit was wrong
  11. PJ had a pretty good line for his snaps. Mays and Pleasants looked good on that right side
  12. Cade mays with an almost 80 PFF grade on that many snaps is a good sign. Hopefully he can move ahead of Rhules favorite guy Jordan eventually
  13. Some PFF numbers. No Bozeman grade on here but you see where Elf is. Red means bad
  14. Should have been a helmet to helmet flag honestly
  15. Your takeaway from that first series is Robbie should have caught this? He was where he was supposed to be and got his hands on it.
  16. Some of us tried to warn all the people that bought into the Rhule training camp fluffy pressers thinking the guy had learned his lesson and turned a new leaf. As soon as he steps into a real game situation he can't get out of his own way. New position coaches obviously can't force him to play the right guys or know how to manage the clock/time outs
  17. TMJ has some kind of injury once again. Shi and Higgins both stood out above anyone else on our WR group. Zylstra is a solid security guy and Ricci actually looked decent. Shi has no fear in the return/yac game but also protects the football which are both traits/instincts a lot of guys just don't have naturally. Not to mention his speed jumps off the tape
  18. No, Darnold got Ickey/BC/Bozeman/ aka the obvious best LT/LG/C. If he was limiting reps to keep guys from being injured that would be one thing but our best guys played they just didn't start because of some college philosophy Rhule has stuck up his ass
  19. If that's the case why exactly is he toying around with Elf and Jordan starting the game with Baker (almost getting him destroyed) before giving Sam Bozeman/BC/Ickey to play behind? He's got some serious mental issues to work through when it comes to pride and nepotism..
  20. Rhule out here willing to get his QB's injured instead of accepting his hunches on a couple players were wrong. This is way worse than what you can see on the television copy and it's glaringly obvious who the liabilities are
  21. We technically won the game but WFT seemed to have a much more smooth transition from starters and backups and their guys didn't look completely clueless by the 4th quarter. We all know how the training camp reps have been split up so it all adds up when you see it on live TV
