The fact that theres a viral social media highlight of a Baker pass that Chuba dropped tells me all I need to know. The clip cuts off before the stone hands because the throw was that good
-
Baker likes to work fast, Chuba has track speed but he's way to slow to react in the moment for check downs and run blocking. Plus he seemed way too cocky in post game interviews last year after loss after loss. Rhule gave him like 80% of preseason snaps last year, Abdullah came in with no knowledge of the playbook and looked like an upgrade
-
Sucks we have to keep 3 qb's on the 53, otherwise can't IR him. Someone good might not clear waivers after getting temporarily cut
-
Hopefully Jordan and Erving never see the field at the same time. It looks like they just walked off the street, got uniforms and were told good luck. Can't believe they've been "practicing" for a month and still look like they have no clue what's going on. At least Elf kinda knows what to do, he just sucks at doing it
-
I only know a couple of these names and can't remember if they're decent or not. Jake Verity just got cut and Jags claimed him so that's a bummer.

Def need more of this. Quick for that size, plays through that borderline hold
-
Love the routes on this drive. Safety was split deciding between Tremble and Shi, either one could have scored. Higgins wide open for a 1st down if the TD looks weren't there. I know it's almost a scramble drill but everyone seemed to know their 2nd level spot if the O-line bought them time
-
It's up there with Elf at Center but there's injury there. Rhule mentioned Bozeman is back next week so maybe they are feeling a little urgency to upgrade that spot. At least Boze can snap the ball cleanly, can't have bad handoffs and low snaps every other drive
-
He also sucks at run blocking or just doesn't wanna do it. Week 1 when Baker scrambled he completely gave up on his guy and Baker had to do that baseball slide out of bounds when he could have easily jogged out after another 5 yards
-
Brandon Smith also looks fuging pumped on every special teams play trying to level the returners. Great energy
-
It's become clear that last years coddling Darnold and Rhule "Not wanting to give away any plays" during preseason games was more about having no fuging plan in the first place. They had like 6 plays in the bag and every team knew them by week 4. Apparently McAdoo has an all you can eat menu with almost too many options, will make potentially adding a reserve QB a little more challenging, It'll have to be a vet like Matt Barkley/Hoyer/etc if we end up needing one
-
Swap TMJ and Shi Smiths draft spots and all is well. It's not hard to justify cutting a number 2 pick when your number 6 was a steal. I still wouldn't credit that to Rhule or Fitt but I'll take it
-
That's without DJ and Robbie on the field. Only thing I saw was a Sam to TMJ underthrow sideline pass. Shi and Higgins are way ahead of him for me
-
That YGM/Ioanidiss/Chinn volleyball interception was pretty rad. Not much room for injuries on the D-line though
-
Sounds like it takes a long time to learn McAdoos system so I'm not expecting any rando to come in. Maybe a veteran cut who can handle 10 different play calls in an emergency. Matt Barkley again if he gets cut? Something like that, at least he knows a few of our Wr's
-
O-line mishaps on the first couple drives look more like miscommunication than guys sucking. Corbett pulling one way, TE blocking in his path, dumb poo that comes from lack of reps when you have multiple positions battles your whole training camp
-
So far on replay, Chuba sucks. Not really worried about the LB's, Luvu and Littleton look great even without Shaq
-
This replay includes the 30 minute rain delay SMH
-
-
Replay is already live on NFL+ for anyone who has it. Missed the live game so gonna check out the first half. Sounds like the O-line was pretty solid besides Elf. Ickey look better to yall?
-
What if Saints/Falcons/Bucs claimed him off waivers just to fug with us? I'd rather risk a 4th tight end or some other garbage depth that'll make it through
-
If you base anything around CMC receiving whatsoever you have to put Foreman at #2. His past catch rate % is between 80-100 every year. Chuba looks quick with straight line speed but is vaporized when he hits the D-line wall. All his college highlights were running through a wide open gap straight ahead for whatever yards who cares
-
That's like 6-8 weeks?
