For as much bitching he did about "People wanting Rhule to fail", I don't think anyone put as much effort into that as he is hoping Wilks fails.
-
Interesting he's already given McAdoo his opinions on offensive schemes
-
So much easier on the ears
-
Talking bout running the football finally. McAdoo gonna feel the heat

Remember the Twitter thread about Wilks and Snow arguing?

Yeah, people wanting him to can McAdoo, it's pretty much impossible to install a new playbook on that side of the ball. He can try to convince McAdoo to call the games differently but that's about it. Only other option is to have Sean Ryan learn and call McAdoo's playbook which doesn't sound promising -

Either way the combo of Wilks zone secondary and Snow's front 7 made zero sense. I'm not a fan of the zone stuff but I'm assuming he needs the front 7 doing particular things for the whole thing to work. In a perfect world he would switch to man and blitz like crazy but it may be zone and blitz like crazy -
What is going on with the QB position the next couple weeks?

I wouldn't be surprised if Darnold is fine and they clear him tmrw. Otherwise PJ and Eason lol. a 5'10" XFL guy and a 6'7" backup. Nice process -
Just how deeply disliked was Matt Rhule?

I think anyone that's had a micromanager boss can agree that going into work is a dreadful thing. I get a handful of players having sympathy for him, I don't hate my former bosses now that I don't work for them anymore, if you knows it's coming to an end you can kinda conjure up some kind of sympathy or something -
So McDaniels would have wasted our time as well?
-
Wilks is a Defense guy, It's easy to ditch Snow and promote Holcomb who he sees eye to eye with. What is your genius plan of replacing McAdoo in the middle of the week? It has to be someone who knows McAdoos already trash playbook because it's too late to install anything new. We basically have to hope Rhule was handicapping McAdoo lol

This may not be necessarily liked or disliked, but I was thinking about Cams exit presser last year about not all guys not buying the BS. Vets are too smart for the Rhule college stuff, and young guys are usually too overwhelmed in the first place to know that it's BS. At the end of the day if you're losing games, people have kinda mailed it in whether they realize it or not -
Yeah I rewatched and it wasn't as bad as I thought initially. Just the last couple questions where he got defensive and talked about the soccer/concerts bs and the very last one about regurgitating Scott Fowlers articles. I actually dislike Fowler so that was whatever to me, just not very professional. The smile when asked about Wilks being excited for the opportunity was the little glimmer of hope. He didn't seem like he wants to micromanage the Panthers at the least, he just wants to hire guys that get the job done so he can worry about his stupid events. I still mainly dislike him because of the turf and field level suite BS

Best moment that happened during his time here, and it required no coaching. It's also pretty much negated by him running Darnold on a goal line sneak a month later while Cam was sitting on the bench doing nothing, because Rhule said "They can both do the same things"
-
I would say today when I looked at Twitter and saw the words Steve Wilks and interim head coach
-
It's impossible to tell who's responsible for all the QB trades and whatnot, and he's probably not trading FOR any other players the rest of the year so it's kinda hard to get a read on if anything has changed on the GM level for the rest of the year. I feel like Tepper did make a comment about how we should be in a better position with the cap and draft picks than we are currently going into next year, but again it's still unclear how much Rhule pushed for all the win now trade stuff
-
Yeah why was he even bringing up concerts and a soccer team as "wins" or whatever? He's more concerned about constantly profiting off the stadium than anything

Yeah at what other team does the social media staff talk about how toxic the HC interaction was? That's new level and has nothing to do with how bad of an actual x and o's coach he is.
