  1. This one doesn't have numbers but has some interesting comments https://www.al.com/alabamafootball/2019/08/how-alabama-qb-tua-tagovailoas-pre-snap-position-could-create-more-red-zone-success.html Word around Alabama is the Crimson Tide has made a concerted effort to make Tua Tagovailoa more comfortable operating from under center, in part, because it could help improve the Tide’s performance in the red zone after experiencing shortfalls in that area last season. The problems Alabama experienced in that condensed part of the field came to a head last January, when Clemson crushed the Tide, 44-16, in the national championship game. During that miserable evening in the Bay Area, the Tide scored one touchdown in its four trips inside the red zone, executing 13 of its 18 plays out of Shotgun once it cracked the Tigers’ 20. During the one sequence when Alabama did breach the goal line, Tagovailoa lined up under center behind a jumbo package and completed a play-action bootleg on a one-yard toss to tight end Hale Hentges, who was wide open.
  2. Seems like it would be easier to find solid numbers for that, I don't subscribe to any of those pff style sites though
  3. Taking play action from under center out of the playbook would be insane right? Stroud has done it and looks natural doing it
  4. Young avoided serious injury during his time starting at Alabama, but there was a somewhat concerning quote from Nick Saban about Young’s shoulder injury from October. ”Bryce has a little AC sprain in his shoulder. We’ll have to take it day-to-day. I think he’s OK. He doesn’t have a serious injury. We didn’t think he could go back in the game because I don’t think he had much steam on throwing the ball. He’s had these before, and in a few days, he starts to respond pretty well. We’ll have to see how it goes.”
  5. I was looking for this number. Couldn't find any tape of Bryce under center, I know a lot of college teams don't do it at all but this still concerns me (Stroud) 121 snaps from under center (15th most in the nation; (Young had four)
  6. I've heard Stroud played/weighed in at 220 during the year.
  7. He certainly has the least to prove and is probably the least insecure about their takes
  8. Yeah I dunno why you would get Dalton as the backup and McCown as the QB coach if Bryce is the pick. CJ is the natural progression from their style of play.
  9. They have a DC as their HC, apparently everyone thinks Bryce is ready to call plays at the line of scrimmage and be a scrambling playmaker so it makes sense from that stand point. Like a tiny Watson/Rodgers
  10. Gotta say the rest of the top 10 is not that exciting to talk about. This is the kinda draft that's almost equal talent from pick 5-50 depending on what happens with the QB's and top D-line guys. There's barely a non QB player that you could claim as the clear best player in this draft.
  11. I was saying we might draft an ILB at 39. BJ would be OLB obviously. If it was between BJ at OLB or Campbell at ILB I would feel conflicted if I were this staff
  12. I'd be surprised if Campbell/Sanders/and Simpson are all off the board by 39. All really good it just depends on who fits what team
  13. In September 2017, Mike Lombardi made headlines by criticizing Philadelphia Eagles coach Doug Pederson: "He might be less qualified to coach a team than anyone I’ve ever seen in my 30-plus years in the NFL."[28] Pederson would lead the Eagles to their first Super Bowl championship later that season.
  14. I guess Chinn is moving closer to the ball or getting traded
  15. Frank has been preaching collaboration from day 1 so I don't think he's gonna Rhule this one into the ground until Fitt finally says ok shut the f up we'll take AR.
  16. Damn this is a deep dive on Paulines pretty rough track record of rumors/predictions https://www.seasidejoe.com/p/nfl-draft-rumors-tony-pauline-seahawks
  17. The SNY.tv Jets site took Pauline off of Jets coverage in 2018 by recommendation of the Jets themselves
  18. I"m guessing you haven't looked at his tiktok page. He's obviously the least mature guy in this group and almost 3 years older than the others
  19. The arm isn't even that good. He got out thrown by CJ at the combine. He also looked like he was about to pass out at his pro day huffing and puffing after 15 minutes of muscle head balls
