  1. Also at the end he was very humble with his reply to that comment about Eason getting cut so he could get more reps.
  2. Especially since we traded a pick for him, and also considering we might only get a 5th or 6th rounder back from another team for him. Much better to have a guy that's gone through the whole offseason program than to just grab an emergency guy in the middle of a week if theres an injury
  3. With teams now being allowed to carry a 3rd qb on game day as a 47th active player it should be a no brainer. He's going to know the play book, we traded away a pick for him, we wouldn't get anything worthwhile in trading him away. I imagine he's going to play a lot of the preseason game snaps since Dalton won't really need them. Curious is Bryce will get more preseason time since he's a rookie or if they'll just let him play a half of game 2 like most other QB1's play now.
  4. So do people still want to try and trade Corral for a 5th/6th rounder or whatever now that we can carry 3 active qb's on game day? They have to be on the 53 man roster, can't call him up from the practice squad.
  5. I can't wait for OTA's tmrw so I can stop getting alerts about this random thread I started out of boredom last week lol.
  6. I wish I'd never started this thread
  7. This is from last year lol. He's apparently 5ish pounds heavier now though
  8. Scary good? It's literally the same group as last year plus a couple UDFA's. It was scary bad when Horn went down. The only hope they have for depth is 2 UDFA's beating out 2 of the depth guys and that's usually not very likely to happen. Maybe Wright knocks out STO or Taylor
  9. He also signed a two year $10M(8 gtd) contract. He's on the roster for at least 1 year, maybe Corral beats him out as the backup next year. I'm more curious if they keep all of them on the 53. Corral might no clear waivers for the practice squad depending on how injuries go throughout the league, and how he looks in preseason
  10. He probably also learned a bit watching the poo show that was Sam/Baker and PJ actually getting the starts at one point after being DOA as the 4th qb in camp.
  11. Aside from optical issues, it really don't make sense for the rest of the offense to have to make that big of an adjust from a 5'10" guy to a 6'6". I'm sure handoffs, O-line protection/windows, ball placement etc are all weird adjustments.
  12. Active slot limits are stupid anyways. It's just a way for the teams to save a few million dollars a year on their contracts by not giving those players their game day bonuses
  13. Interesting, Corral may actually get more than 1 rep a day at camp
  14. Yeah the offense actually wants the home crowd to shut the fug up when they're calling a play so it's a bit different dynamic
  15. Interesting insight on how rookie camp went, hard reality of bottom tier guys getting the Corral treatment with their reps. I guess when trying to get a rookie QB and 2nd round wr up to speed asap some of these tryout guys weren't getting much a chance
  16. Well they went 3-5-1 with Frank, fired him and went 1-7 the rest of the stretch. We on the other hand were 1-4 with the other guy, fired him and went 6-6 with basic addition by subtraction. They also made the playoffs twice in 5 years when they had decent QB play, and 2019 they got screwed with the Andrew Luck retirement 3 weeks into preseason and still managed to go 7-9
