  1. Trade to 3 for Stroud or Richardson I'm down
  2. Peter King needs to retire, but I hope we aren't looking at those guys
  3. Can't teach this stuff, I would keep him, and would have drafted him over Horn. QB wasn't the issue with the Bears the past couple seasons
  4. After watching last season you're more concerned with our RB's and WR's than TE? If you get a legit Olsen/Kelce/Kittle everything else opens up. I'd take AR over any of those positions if he's there at 9 in this draft. Seems like it's shaping up to pick 5-40 are about the same year one impact unless you are severely lacking at a certain position
  5. Yeah I still wanna see how TMJ/Shi/Shenault actually look with a real coach, QB, and a threat at TE. Everything else is pretty much in place to be decent on offense
  6. What's with the injuries? It's a pretty good draft for WR but that's not really our biggest issue if we're trying to get a major impact player in the first round
  7. I'd rather take one of the TE's that will actually beat out the bums we've been trotting out there in that case
  8. It's crazy how much people are ignoring AR reading the field. He seems to process pretty fast, more of an accuracy/shitty WR problem last year for him.
  9. We probably would have won 3 more games last year if we had AR straight up. It's hard to throw more picks than the Darnold/PJ/Walker trio. Probably would have rushed for 200-300 yards a game lol
  10. So we passed on Fields, the Bears have the #1 pick and supposedly don't want to trade him to take either of these top 2 Qbs? And now if we want one we might have to trade a bag to them to grab one of them? Interesting to see how Fields vs Stroud/Young looks in a couple years.
  11. Reich already had to apologize to Irsay of all people for trying to fix him. I don't know if he'd even get picked up before Darnold for a backup role at this point
  12. Well yeah they benched him twice last year
  13. Him or Staley also made some comments about being tough enough to stay in the pocket, but also being able to scramble and make plays when needed. That kinda thing is the biggest knock on Carr. He's more of the needs to stand in a clean pocket and throw without feeling pressured type
  14. I mean you can create draft picks by trading players or future picks, it's just not in your control whether another team is interested in working with you
  15. He still had triple the production of anyone we've had at TE since Greg left. 2020 he still put up 558 yards and 5 tds in a rotation. Not saying it would be groundbreaking but if he comes on a vet min he could definitely beat out a least one of the 4 bums Rhule and McAdoo were rotating. Maybe even teach Tremble a thing or two
  16. It just reeks of a Kirk Cousins kinda move. Good enough to make it to the wild card game every other year and lose, always picking around 15-20. And it's not even really your own guy you drafted. I think Cousins is better than Carr and most on the Vikings message board are ready to move on and draft a guy instead of paying Kirk $35M a year over and over again with the same mediocre results
  17. Starting some money moves. This should help get us to only $3M-ish over if they do the whole 5.9
  18. Yeah that was a largely forgettable yet hectic free agency.
  19. Rhule and Hurney paid Teddy $20M. He's averaged like $7M per year for every other year. I know Carr/Jones/Jimmy G want 35-40 but I just don't think they're that much better than Teddy/Minshew/Brissett types that will play for under 10.
  20. Yeah I think they're facing the reality that Stafford is cooked, Donald keeps flip flopping on retirement, Ramsey might get traded..
  21. He was due $12M, 7 dead cap and they save 5. They're $15M over. They have so much money tied up in their top 6 players it's kinda crazy.
