Yeah he's either getting cut and getting paid less by another team, or getting extended for less money here. Average player and he sure acted pretty immature for a good chunk of the Rhule era for someone that was retained as a veteran leader or whatever.

OTC basically has it as a 2 year $60M guaranteed deal, if they cut him in 2025 they'll owe $5.7M dead cap for 3 years which isn't horrible Year Age Base Salary Prorated Bonus Roster Bonus Guaranteed Salary Cap Number Cap % Dead Money & Cap Savings Cut (pre-June 1)Cut (post-June 1)Trade (pre-June 1)Trade (post-June 1)RestructureExtension Total $111,500,000 $28,500,000 $10,000,000 $31,500,000 $150,000,000 2023 32 $1,500,000 $5,700,000 $0 $1,500,000 $7,200,000 3.2% $37,200,000 ($30,000,000) 2024 33 $30,000,000 $5,700,000 $0 $30,000,000 $35,700,000 13.9% $35,700,000 $0 2025 34 $30,000,000 $5,700,000 $10,000,000 $0 $45,700,000 16.2% $5,700,000 $40,000,000 2026 35 $50,000,000 $5,700,000 $0 $0 $55,700,000 18.1% $5,700,000 $50,000,000 2027 36 Void $5,700,000 Void Void $5,700,000 -- $5,700,000 $0

That's essentially locking him in for 3 mid years haha. Might as well have just kept Dalton and Winston or whatever they had going on.

Pretty mundane vibes over on the Saints message board lol.

Time to sign Darnold and do this Daniel Jeremiah @MoveTheSticks Indy & Carolina both need to identify the QB prospect they want & do what it takes to move up & get him. I don’t think patience is your friend right now with so many QB needy teams out there. Bears can issue a buy now price for that pick & I believe one of these 2 will pay it.

The blog was better than anything he did when he was officially with the Panthers. Feels like he's been held back the whole time he's been on staff

Thank the lord. This won't scare our defense at all

REPORT: Panthers to aggressive pursue trade up to get a QB
Jackie Lee replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I would guess at 32 he's looking for the best guaranteed deal for his last big contract -
That doesn't take into account the possibility of a bidding war for the #3 spot.
-
Or he didn't wanna take the hoodie off and show off his 204 body. Either way weird

Not mad at this PFN mock trade 3) Carolina Panthers: C.J. Stroud, QB, Ohio State Trade: Carolina receives pick 3; Arizona receives pick 9, pick 39, and a 2024 first-round pick. The Panthers got themselves a scare when Houston hung up the phone on them but was relieved when they took Richardson, leaving the QB that best fits Frank Reich’s offense to fall one more pick. While they gave Arizona quite a haul for the rights to the third pick in the draft, there were other suitors, and the Panthers had already tried calling Chicago and Houston about their top picks. C.J. Stroud is an outstanding quarterback who finished his collegiate career on one of the biggest heaters I’ve ever seen. His play against both Michigan and Georgia comprised the best QB tape of the cycle, and if he learns to play more like an athlete, he could very easily become the best QB in the class.

Judging from the Panthers pressers, I think it's gotta be Stroud or AR. I'm fine with Darnold as the bridge/camp competition if we get either.
-
-
Hear me out. AR in the 1st and Darnell in the 2nd..That's a lot for other teams to deal with. If they aren't ready to throw or catch you can just hammer the other defense to death in the run game
-
Which Anderson?
-
He didn't even throw today? He looks like a water boy next to the other guys in this clip, and I'm wondering if he's carrying like 10 pounds of water in his stomach under that hoodie lol. I think It's Stroud or AR for me, then Hooker on day two if we can't get one of those guys.
-
Do they have complete workouts of Young and Levis on youtube yet? I can only find AR doing everything and Stroud throwing
