  1. He is obviously a step above Baker or Sam upstairs, on and off the field. I'm not worried about any small things people nitpick about his Ohio tape. McCown and Reich obviously love him and it's literally their job to take him to the next level. If Bryce is so pro ready send him to the Texans that have a Defensive HC
  2. I see. An aspiring Twitter journalist who didn't credit his source
  3. Who is this dork and how would he know which private visits have already happened?
  4. It's interesting, I hadn't seen the Rose Bowl footage before. He definitely improved his vision over this past season. He's also definitely making at least 2 reads on a lot of the snaps for the guys saying he's always locked on one guy. And he doesn't seem afraid of stepping up in the pocket, he always steps into his throws so I don't get that criticism either.
  5. Which game? The MHJ scramble TD against Georgia?
  6. It's only highlights, but the skycam stuff is a way more interesting view from the QB perspective. Haven't watched the Rose Bowl one yet.
  7. Yeah I've been meaning to watch more to see if he needs to scramble/drop back so much because of pressure or lack of being able to see over the line. It was fun to watch live on Saturdays, I wish there was more all 22 film on college games
  8. How much deep diving have you done into your critique of Bryce Young?
  9. I think he's the least talked about #1 qb of all time, pre and post draft.
  10. It was a totally different game plan on D. Stroud got blitzed/pressured way more than I saw from the Young/GA games. Only time I saw a team go after Bryce like that was the Texas game where he threw for 213 yards and 1 td. That's a more clear indicator of how Bryce will be treated in the NFL. If I was an NFL DC I'd rather go against Bryce than CJ any day of the week
  11. Watch this and tell me you have any leadership/motivation/maturity concerns from CJ. I didn't know his journey from being a 3 star recruit to basically just being better than everyone else every time someone decided to give him a chance. I was nowhere near as mature when I was 21.
  12. Yeah, he didn't throw at the combine either where it's a level playing field back to back. He can't launch it 65 yards like CJ or AR. Or he didn't wanna take his hoodie off because he was a very bloated 204 pounds, either way it was a combination of dodging the situation and some insecurity. I'd respect him more if he had just weighed in at 190 and threw perfect 55 yard deep passes instead of trying to fudge things.
  13. Draft Party for the #1 pick is interesting. Everyone gonna be wasted by 9pm
  14. My main issue is if Cam or Justin Fields said some poo similar to that the media would have killed them pre draft.
  15. Yeah that's way too high for a Donte Jackson backup/clone. I'm fine with grabbing one on day 3 but there will be better players at 39.
  16. Probably Andrew Luck going 11-5. Kyler went 8-8. The Rams traded up to #1 for Goff and went 4-12, but the next year they fired the HC, got Mcvay and went like 11-5
  17. Nice little behind the scenes vid of CJ interacting with his peers. Even coaching up some young Qb's at his old high school. He definitely carries himself like a "leader", very nonchalant and natural. I'll take that over the phony Russell Wilson type
  18. Yeah that flew under the radar for such an entitled comment to make. There were literally hundreds of QB's busting their ass around the country the same year hoping for that draft pick and he acted like he could take it or leave it. Zach Wilson was another who didn't get prodded at over his leadership/character at all and it seems like everyone on the team and staff in NY can't stand the guy.
  19. Yeah this guy wouldn't beat out Tremble or Ricci
  20. Yeah that was a rough one to watch. NFL teams are going to replicate that with half a second less time to throw before getting hit.
  21. I would say judging by their pro days and combine interviews, CJ is definitely more the alpha of the two. His competitiveness is starting to come to light more. He was ready to drop the interviews and play horse with McCown at his pro day lol.
  22. Yeah I've never seen a play action roll out under center but I haven't watched every snap. Also doubt he'll be doing QB sneaks on 3rd and short.
  23. Some interesting in depth comments from opposing coaches in this new mock draft as well 1.CJ 2.Bryce We heard when Bill O’Brien got there, Bryce ended up teaching him the early stages of their offense. My only concern is that he’s little. At some point one of these gigantic interior guys is gonna land on him and you’ll be scared that he’s not gonna get up. His size scares me because against us, he really didn’t escape. We ran him down three or four times. We’ve got some good athletes, but those are the athletes that you’re trying to run away from at that level.” “If he’s got time, he’s gonna kill you. His arm is good in person but Hendon Hooker has a stronger arm. He’s at his best extending plays in the pocket, and he throws dimes. He also has a very good feel on touch and when to rifle it in there. We changed significantly (scheme-wise) before we played him. We ran Fire Zone and Cover 0 and really heated him up, and I didn’t think he saw it that well when there’re athletic 6-5 dudes running down your throat. I’m not sold on him. I’d take C.J. before him.”
