JT O'Sullivan's QB Rankings for 2023
Jackie Lee replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
So he's basing his Bryce pick on him having a better competition at the 2022 elite 11 where they were like camp counselors? That's fuging stupid. You can watch their pro days back to back and tell Stroud has the better arm. If Bryce would have thrown at the combine he would have obviously been below Stroud arm wise -
I was just using this because it has the stripes stopping above the armpit on these jerseys

Regrading every first-round QB pick over the last 15 years
Jackie Lee replied to Martin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Goff went like 4-12 after the Rams traded up for him. They then hired McVay and went 11-5 or so the next year. -
I just hope it's not some crazy looking poo like this

A Different Perspective on the Young vs Stroud Decision
Jackie Lee replied to Matthias's topic in Carolina Panthers
I just don't think Bryce is gonna get this much space in the NFL consistently. Stroud seemed to generally play with a lot more pressure in the pocket than Bryce -
JT O'Sullivan's QB Rankings for 2023

Yeah to assume CJ's Georgia game was a one off is just weird to me. Bryce has to play like that against all competition just to get off plays. Maybe CJ was asked to stay in the pocket. If he tried to run/scramble and was bad at it I'd understand, but he was good at it when he did do it. -

A Different Perspective on the Young vs Stroud Decision
Jackie Lee replied to Matthias's topic in Carolina Panthers
I"m still trying to figure out Young's floor if his game doesn't translate. I was looking at PJ but PJ has a better arm. Maybe if Russ was 20 pounds lighter? -
Yeah that number is only going to go down at this point. Shoulda taken what he could before Watson and Russ played a snap this previous year because both those teams are regretting those contracts lol.

I'm at the point of taking the approach of, If I'm the opposing DC, who would I rather game plan against? I'd rather play against Bryce and force him to stay in the pocket, or send an extra guy so those 8 yard 3 second long drops won't work. CJ can carve you up from the pocket without needing a 5 step dropback to see whats going on/not get the ball tipped

We need cliff notes, I have no clue what's going on over there

Do they really think JSN or JPJ are available at 39 or would they really trade up to grab one of them after all they gave up for #1?

Young VS Stroud, the greatest Panthers debate ever?
Jackie Lee replied to GOAT's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah I agree he emulates his style after Rodgers, but at 4" shorter and 30 pounds lighter I don't know if it's a fair "comp" -
What's everyones fascination with adding Monster Energy claw marks to every design? It will not stand the test of time

Young VS Stroud, the greatest Panthers debate ever?
Jackie Lee replied to GOAT's topic in Carolina Panthers
If Stroud is ranked QB #8 after his first season would anyone really complain? Goff/Herbert/Burrow comps in order of floor to ceiling is about as good as it currently gets. Bryce comp on Bleacher Report- PRO COMPARISON: Downscaled Tony Romo. -
Speaking of Kaye he's live on this Youtube pod
-
Glad Kurt also showed examples of him making multiple reads, and moving the safeties off in the endzone was a pro move as well. Also the narrative that his WR's are constantly open is bs, he constantly makes throws in super tight coverage
