  1. The brain was supposed to make up for the lack of physical talent or something.
  2. Carolina last had a winning season in 2017 — a year before Tepper bought the team.
  3. And its starts at 4:05 so the whole nation will get about 20 minutes of whatever this mess is going to be before tuning into Eagles/9ers or Browns/rams. Hopefully that will be 20 minutes of Tepper getting bashed on by the media
  4. And he wasn't exactly learning under the Ravens/Steelers/Eagles level professionals either lol. Imagine getting shown the ropes by Marty fuging Hurney and thinking you're good to go
  5. I might be more interested in this Flacco comeback game than whatever show we're gonna put on..
  6. Only thing in his favor is he's running out of going the reactionary full 180 option again. Very tepper move to go from totally inexperienced college staff to a bunch of burnt out senior citizens. Not that I'd put it past him to go college coach again though if he's super low on options. Only way this can work out is if he moves back to Miami or whatever and is just the money guy
  7. Seriously coulda just played Corral lol...but then we'd have DJ Moore and Jalen Carter or someone from pick 9 and might have actually won a few games so probably wouldn't be looking at pick #1. Comical however you look at it
  8. Exactly, probably shouldn't let anyone in the club that can outbid basically any and all of them. They must get something out of it though since they let the Walmart people in recently as well
  9. Yeah any segment or hot take clip worth watching on ESPN is trimmed and uploaded to Twitter and Youtube almost immediately for free for anyone that cares. I don't see how they sustain that business model. I'm fine with watching regular news or weather on Pluto tv if I feel like having some background noise on. People don't really watch tv like that anymore unless an actual game is on, unless they are 80 years old in which case they just watch soap operas and gameshows on basic cable
  10. One league source described Carolina's vacancy as a "leverage job," meaning candidates will take the interview as leverage for a more attractive job. Tepper's deep pockets could be used to get many candidates raises at their current jobs or increased offers at their new ones. So not only did he totally screw up our franchise, but he's probably pissing every other team/owner in the league off by basically writing coaches blank checks just to come here.
  11. I literally only noticed because I have Chris Godwin on my fantasy team and I'm setting my lineup
  12. Yeah whoever takes this HC job is going to do it solely based on money. I really doubt any young and upcoming coach is willing to risk ruining their careers over appeasing/entertaining Teppers football ideas. Didn't Tepper have Rivera switch to a 3-4 defense? lol. Been meddling the whole time
  13. I can't believe they flexed this ass game to 4pm lol. It's on in NY although I'm sure everyone will be watching 49ers-Eagles.
  14. Not sure it's been about a month or so since I last remember it being disputed. Seems like a few have slowly accepted reality over the last few weeks
  15. Some on here really wanted to believe Tepper wasn't pulling the strings on the draft pick...Now here we are in a situation where we can't even let Bryce sit and learn the rest of the year because it'll bruise Teppers ego.
  16. A bunch of y'all didn't feel bad for Corral. How about Penix at the top of the 2nd? BY not making this throw
  17. Yeah he did the same thing with Rhule. Pretty sure he bases everything off ESPN hype
  18. Bryce was basically a jag last year after losing some weapons if you ignore the media hype
  19. Not that Shenault was taking his snaps or anything, but time to see what ISM can do with legit game reps. Also get Blacksheer out there running some stuff instead of Sanders. Miles-Bryce has zero chemistry
  20. Also the S2 guy wasn't even selling it very well when he was doing press. Might as well test everyone to see who gets the highest score on photo hunt
  21. Yeah I remember it was officially the case as soon as the S2 scores were leaked. That's when I begrudgingly accepted we were going Bryce over CJ
  22. Speaking of big boards what was Daniel Jeremiah watching? Footwork is and has been ugly and lazy The 2021 Heisman Trophy winner has quick feet in his setup and effectively marries his eyes and feet.
  23. Google 2023 nfl mock draft and every link on the 1st page has Bryce as the no.1 pick, whether they thought he was the best or they were just assuming that's who we wanted I'm not gonna read through all that
  24. This is the same guy that bought into the Rhule hype. He literally might base all of his decisions off of ESPN
