He did drink like 2 gallons of water before weigh in at the combine and not throw vs Stroud/AR, then didn't weigh at his pro day and looked pretty mediocre missing most of his deep shots. If he threw side by side at the combine I think the media would have dropped him below Stroud "for sure"

He wasn't even signing autographs at camp at first until I'm guessing some PR person got on him about it. I'm not sold on his aw shucks persona, while everyone during the pre draft was trying to bash CJ for his S2 score and coming from a single parent home etc.

It's like they didn't try to fix any of his questionable mechanics from college because he's too small to play qb with traditional fundamentals. I never understood why JT never gets on Bryce for his crazy ass footwork and jump passes but will drill other guys for clicking their heels occasionally
