32. Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers Young was really set up to fail last season. The revolving door at playcaller, the coaching staff getting replaced, and his No. 1 target being prehistoric Adam Thielen were all pretty big obstacles for a rookie to overcome. Now, he has Diontae Johnson and Jeffrey Boomhauer- whoops, I meant Xavier Legette- to throw the ball to. Plus, Dave Canales as the singular guiding hand for Young at head coach will benefit him. He’s low on the list, but I’m hopeful he’ll make a nice leap forward. https://touchdownwire.usatoday.com/lists/nfl-top-quarterbacks-patrick-mahomes-josh-allen-justin-herbert-lamar-jackson/

31 Bryce Young-CAROLINA PANTHERS QB It'll be hard for Young, last year's No. 1 pick, not to take a step forward after an often-hapless debut. New coach Dave Canales should help, along with a refreshed receiving corps.

We could technically still go down 1 on that list lol.

Uh who? Fire clifford, get Boston coach, fire Boston coach, Rehire Cliff, refire Cliff, hire another Boston coach -
Your boy is at 31 in the new CBS QB rankings. Behind everyone but Daniel Jones lol https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2024-nfl-qb-power-rankings-brock-purdy-jordan-love-crack-top-10-in-first-post-draft-pecking-order/ 31 Bryce YoungCAROLINA PANTHERS QB It'll be hard for Young, last year's No. 1 pick, not to take a step forward after an often-hapless debut. Where would the Panthers be if they sat Bryce Young last season?
Jackie Lee replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
That's kind of the worst part about not sitting him the last few games of the year. Really would have been helpful seeing a guy that actually was a decent starter in the NFL run the offense just to see how much of it was the entire offense vs BY just sucking. Defenses play different QB's differently but seems like some people don't see that type of trickle down effect -

We've had 2 really bad back to back preseasons where the coaches didn't take it seriously, coddled the starting qb, and claimed to not be giving away any of their magic playbooks lol. We at least need to beat dudes one on one in basic reps, at the very least not have our starters get outplayed by other teams 2nd string guys again. -

Patriots, Giants, Falcons turning over every stone to set up a QB room, we won't even give Bryce legit competition. How do you go through training camp and know what you actually have if you don't? -

The tweet is about the whole team not just the young lion -
I would take it over this clown show! The fluff is not working on me this offseason, didn't the last two either. You can tell a shitty boss has and is still meddling and micromanaging, but it's a business where he makes profit whether he puts out a good product or not so we're kinda fuged as fans

I think we saw his super processor kick in after the Falcons game, he intentionally didn't attempt certain throws because he didn't trust his velocity, as well as some he probably just literally couldn't see where guys were on scramble drills. That takes away his whole "timing qb" thing many folks love to label him as. I guess they can try to game plan around it but it won't take opposing defenses very long to watch a little film and figure it out

Can you imagine even PJ Walker coming in vs what we saw last year? They wouldn’t allow him to be out there launching bombs in preseason w Bryce sitting on the sideline

Edge I guess is the new universal term for 4-3 DE/OLB yes. I think we’re pretty solid in the middle
