  1. Yeah Rhule and Tepper weren't great influences but he's horrible on trades, giving and receiving. He was signed in January 21 and first big moves were signing Pat Elfein, Cam Erving, and the Darnold trade. Then I don't give a poo if Rhule liked the guy you don't skip on Trey Smith for a long snapper in that 2021 6th round. Oh then he gave Robbie Anderson that dumbass contract while he was holding out of camp. These moves listed were all made by him in his first 7 months
  2. I forgot there was even football on tmrw even though I know it's a Sunday lol. I don't even know the power rankings or the anyone besides a couple qb's and wr's for first round mocks. College football wasn't even that good this year
  3. Yeah he's paying people, but it sounds like he's also telling them how to do their jobs and who to do them with.
  4. Yeah I don't see how you could go into the offseason without seeing how the offense functions with a vet qb. Way too many unknowns at that point to even attempt to make roster decisions based off whatever the fug they've been putting out there
  5. I would honestly rather see Dalton have this offense looking like something resembling an NFL team while Bryce takes notes on the sideline. At least we know what Dalton is and you can get a somewhat reasonable evaluation on the rest of the offense and the OC for the last few games. Like I really need to see if Brown is going to still call pass plays out of shotgun on 3rd/4th and 1 with a regular NFL sized qb lol.
  6. I've been busy the last couple Sundays and it's actually more entertaining reading the game day reactions thread than actually sitting and watching it happen live on tv.
  7. That's the only way you can sell this mess to a decent head coach. Accept that 2024 is gonna be house cleaning and an audition for Bryce. He should honestly have to win a camp battle vs whoever is on the roster but Tepper is going to force him onto the field. After that the HC and hopefully new GM they are paired with get to really start fresh in 2025.
  8. I haven't watched a game in about a month or so and don't feel like i'm missing anything. Knowing Tepper is going to force whoever the next coach is to play Bryce is going to set a bad vibe from the get go. It's going to be someone willing to get fired in exchange for a certain amount of guaranteed money. Not exactly an inspiring situation for anyone involved
  9. You think Tepper asks the players how they feel about anything? I doubt he consulted any players before installing turf and those ugly ass field level suites that opposing fans rent out every week
  10. Yeah so much for the computer brain. Either he doesn't see these targets because of his height, he knows he can't zip it in before it get's picked, or he's just shell shocked from the pressure. Even Darnold would hit some of these occasionally instead of throwing it out of bounds aka giving up on the play
  11. I was just looking to see if there was more to that clip on the replay but they got it all. On another note why didn't he hit Ian Thomas on the 3rd down, or Sanders or Thielen (when open) on 4th down? Sorry if this has been discussed already, been working long days
  12. Watching the replay, Bryce throws in slow motion it's hard to watch
  13. I'm watching the replay, how does anyone think the run game looked good lol.
  14. The brain was supposed to make up for the lack of physical talent or something.
  15. Carolina last had a winning season in 2017 — a year before Tepper bought the team.
  16. And its starts at 4:05 so the whole nation will get about 20 minutes of whatever this mess is going to be before tuning into Eagles/9ers or Browns/rams. Hopefully that will be 20 minutes of Tepper getting bashed on by the media
  17. And he wasn't exactly learning under the Ravens/Steelers/Eagles level professionals either lol. Imagine getting shown the ropes by Marty fuging Hurney and thinking you're good to go
  18. I might be more interested in this Flacco comeback game than whatever show we're gonna put on..
  19. Only thing in his favor is he's running out of going the reactionary full 180 option again. Very tepper move to go from totally inexperienced college staff to a bunch of burnt out senior citizens. Not that I'd put it past him to go college coach again though if he's super low on options. Only way this can work out is if he moves back to Miami or whatever and is just the money guy
  20. Seriously coulda just played Corral lol...but then we'd have DJ Moore and Jalen Carter or someone from pick 9 and might have actually won a few games so probably wouldn't be looking at pick #1. Comical however you look at it
  21. Exactly, probably shouldn't let anyone in the club that can outbid basically any and all of them. They must get something out of it though since they let the Walmart people in recently as well
  22. Yeah any segment or hot take clip worth watching on ESPN is trimmed and uploaded to Twitter and Youtube almost immediately for free for anyone that cares. I don't see how they sustain that business model. I'm fine with watching regular news or weather on Pluto tv if I feel like having some background noise on. People don't really watch tv like that anymore unless an actual game is on, unless they are 80 years old in which case they just watch soap operas and gameshows on basic cable
  23. One league source described Carolina's vacancy as a "leverage job," meaning candidates will take the interview as leverage for a more attractive job. Tepper's deep pockets could be used to get many candidates raises at their current jobs or increased offers at their new ones. So not only did he totally screw up our franchise, but he's probably pissing every other team/owner in the league off by basically writing coaches blank checks just to come here.
