QB's in the CFL are better than Young

Just like Rogers, and they've had good qb play for like 25 years. Maybe we should have gone the community ownership route after JR stepped down

TPS Graded All 31 First Rounders from 2023

I dunno if he's even good for Manning Passing Academy because he has completely unorthodox footwork and body mechanics that most potential QB's will outgrow by junior year of high school. If there was a 6' and under ymca league he could give them some pointers -
These dudes more relevant than anyone that’s played for us in the past 2 years

TPS Graded All 31 First Rounders from 2023

About halfway through the season it became pretty obvious he was not seeing/throwing to NFL open receivers on a pretty consistent basis. I’m definitely not going to do it but it would be interesting if someone made a reel of all the open throws he either didn’t pull the trigger on because of not trusting his arm strength and/or him just giving up and throwing the ball out of bounds repeatedly when guys were open on scramble drills. He deserves tons of blame and it’s a shame we didn’t get to see Dalton run the offense because now we can’t evaluate the offense properly heading into the offseason -
All the firings of not just the coaches and GM's but of office personnel, social media members basically walking away just to escape the environment (at least during Rhule). Horrible start to building any culture aside from the culture of people coming here just to milk Tepper of x-amount millions of dollars and move on to greener pastures. It's almost to the point where if someone comes here and it doesn't work out, it won't even hurt their resume because the next team they work for will definitely believe their side of the story over whatever word Tepper puts out about them. I was fine with keeping Wilks as HC but honestly he's probably in a better situation now than if he'd gone 4-13 with Teppers QB and gotten fired for it

That was the issue with not just playing Dalton at some point. Some BY dudes wanted Bryce to get "more experience" where in reality we wasted multiple games where we could have been actually evaluating the O-line and skill players with a NFL caliber qb under center. Now everything is a question mark instead of just the rookie qb

So just Dave and Nicole? lol
-
Is it just me or do all these moves/requests seem super chaotic? Like literally just asking everyone about coach and GM without much info about our consulting firm, seemingly no interest in any kind of President or VP to stabilize this mess
-
-
I actually like it, he has a little of the Wilks vibe, doesn't seem too stubborn, would intimidate Teppers dumb ass, Nicole probably thinks he's hot..
-
If he brings Derrick Henry along with him fug it yeah. Dalton can run that offense into the playoffs no prob
-
Maybe they realized it's a hard sell so uh, just call everyone you can think of. Of course it's some ex soccer guy that just helped him hire his 3rd Charlotte FC coach lol.
-
As are most lineman, that's kinda the obvious problem..it's why he can't see
-
We so fuged up by not taking Stroud lol. Literally the only NFL worthy performance in a college playoff game in a while
-
Wouldn't surprise me if he went for a yes man GM and back to another college coach but this time he himself has more experience so he can explain to the college guy how things work around his building.

Not feeling great about Tepper requesting interviews with GM's and HC's. Just feels like he's gonna hodge podge together another random duo. A GM that will do whatever he wants along with whatever HC he can throw enough money at to come here for a pay day. I feel like he should stick to hiring a VP/GM that isn't gonna be his little bitch and then let them work from there
-
No sense in wasting time to stroke Teppers ego. He couldn't beat out Darnold in a fair camp competition. We honestly could have probably won a game or 2 more if we just gave Corral a fair shot taking snaps in training camp and letting him use his legs. Or if not he would have netted us the #1 pick this year which we could actually use and there wouldn't be so much negativity and turmoil on this board lol

Ok so we agree basically on everything except you think his bad rookie year is comparable to average rookie years. The average QB doesn't have to suddenly figure out at 23 or 24 years old how to dramatically improve their arm strength. Most have the tools just need to mentally adjust. Bryce doesn't have the tools, needs to mentally adjust, and needs to figure out how to mentally adjust into somehow convincing secondaries that he's going to magically get the ball out of his arm faster with that crazy ass footwork. It's a major uphill battle that he should have been working on for the last 5 years since he stopped growing. He's not going to suddenly change his whole game and body type anytime soon
