Shake up the TE room! Jordan Matthew stakes his claim There's an interesting dynamic brewing in the tight-end room. Tommy Tremble and Ian Thomas have missed several practices due to injury. Stephen Sullivan was released, leaving an opportunity for others to stake their claim. Jordan Matthews has seized the moment more than most. The veteran is all business and looking to maximize the chance in front of him. This hasn't gone unnoticed by head coach Dave Canales, who lauded the player's work ethic and dependability based on comments via the team's website.

I need to see this defense do it vs the Jets. All these tweets make it sound like we have an all time top 5 Panthers D out there this year

I mean it's more about finding immediate upgrades off the waiver wire which they should take complete advantage of. Seems as of last week they have a good 15-20 positions that could be upgraded if the right players get cut off other teams

They need to give Luton more snaps in the next two games so we can actually watch the bubble guys get some fair shots at making plays on offense.

Why Dave Canales needs live reps with his first-team?
Jackie Lee replied to jayboogieman's topic in Carolina Panthers
I feel like it would be pretty insane to go into week 1 at the Saints without Canales and Bryce having any practice reps with the headset communication in an actual game setting. Seems like a pretty important thing to get comfortable with, especially since it's a rookie head coach, first time starter at Center, and Bryce in a new playbook. -
Panthers Practice August 12: Compliment Sandwich Edition
Jackie Lee replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
Is this the definition of coddling the offense? Pads were too hard so they went back to shells to make it easier on them?
